KWIKSPAR Boulevard District Six

Terrible service from staff. Not one will acknowledge you when you’re in front of them and even speaking to them. They continue with their personal conversations while you’re trying to communicate to them (had to say 4 times that I have a rewards card, didn’t acknowledge me. Only noticed when I wasn’t processing payment). The store has such potential but the staff brings the place down as a whole.

Like so many of the staff from the surrounding call centres, i usually get hot foods from them. Today, there was a green fly flying around that area. The staff were totally oblivious to it, and it landed in the chicken livers. I told them, and they started shooing it away. I left without getting anything. :(

Yesterday 14-01-23 i asked the cashier the price of the SPAR bags,she told me to wait and 1st pay for my groceries.i thought that's how they do things after I paid for my groceries she asked me what do you want I asked again about the SPAR bag she told me go fetch 1 so that she can ring it up as she don't know the price, I asked her politely to go get me the bag as I tried and can't get it off,she , cashier 2 told me if I can't get it off how must she get it off as it's not her job to go get stuff for customers ,I asked to speak to someone in charge she pointed with her finger to a lady saying there's the manager you can talk to her,I asked if she's the manager but she said no she the supervisor, I told her about the bag incident and she said she will speak to the cashier ,I asked if she can do it in my presence,she called the cashier and all she said was that she was supposed to get the bag for the customer, Nevermind how rude she was with the customer ,the cashier asked the supervisor with a smile is that a rule,how disappointing, nevermind the fact that I just spent R400.,never again will I support SPAR district 6

Very disappointed I bought a mousse tart at there bakery then noticed it was expired... Took it back for a replacement and all they did was change the sticker

I work at the Boulevard Office Park and so I get to buy my lunch from Spar on a regular. Today was the last straw. I bought Pre packed mince and curry for R37.99 and it looks very presentable and value for money. Did I not open the food and discover that 80% of the dish is rice, hidden nicely under the 20% mince curry which was very tasteless to say the least. The staff is definitely not friendly and I am actually sadly starting to accept that's how they are. I'm just done, enough is enough.

Received the worst service from cashier Cindy who was very rude and disrespected us so badly that the manager had yo intervene as ibrefused to be assisted by such a rude person. This cashier has such a bad attitude that she makes shopping at this spar very unpleasant and I will most definitely spread the word about this bad service.

I always enjoy going there, they are well stocked, a wide range of groceries, take out meals freshly prepared , a butcher,a bakery and fresh flowersThe location is also good, approximately 200metres off the Nelson Mandela Boulevard and easy access back on the Boulevard if you need to buy something on your way home

First time there, as I heard about their top quality bakery. Seriously good cakes. Everything was delicious. And it was made using fresh cream instead of the artificial kind. Notably good was there eclair, Swiss roll and the milk tart was great.
