This was a cool place to stumble upon. Their service was a bit so-so, perhaps the person that attended to us was new. I think he was substituted at half time" because all of a sudden we were being attended to by someone else. This came after I asked about their oyster and bubbly special which is boldly written on a board to attract passers by

Tucked away down a beautiful European stone path, you step into a sensorial wonderland where fantastical colour and ambiance take over. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the owner had all the time in the world for us. The food was delicious with it’s own beautiful twists. We highly recommend this spot for both breakfast & lunch. Worth a bit of the splurge.

Hidden inside a gorgeous alley way, it feels like we stepped inside France! There was relaxing jazz music and a live pianist which set an amazing atmosphere! All the staff were so friendly and provided great service. The restaurant is beautifully decorated inside with the most clean and elegant restrooms. Will definitely be going back !

As others have said, this is a hidden gem. So colourful inside, that's what originally attracted me. They had lovely live jazz as well & I enjoyed the service. The food I ordered wasn't anything super but this could be personal preference for sure. It seemed very fresh!

This place is AMAZING . Well designed and pretty , it’s an incredible place to be and enjoy some good food with your friends . The owners are lovely and caring super polite .We had a good time , good food and good playlist ! It suits with the spirit of the place . Would definitely recommend and will revisit it without doubts . Thank you for this wonderful experience , it was so delicious!

Food and atmosphere was great, however I cannot say the same about the service. Firstly, if the waitress didn't come back to us to ask us something about our order, she would've put in an extra dish that we didn't order. We received the food, all was good, and asked for sauces. Literally took 3 waiters, and the owner to bring us the sauces we were asking for and it took 20minutes. By that time our food was cold. Payment took just as long. Again, food and atmosphere was great, but the service was not there and it seemed like it wasn't organised at all.

My wife saw the menu at the entrance on the main street and we decided to go and browse. They only had seating inside as the jazz music was on. We felt a bit underdressed, but no-one batted an eyelid. The food was superb. We had the fresh oysters to start with, followed by chicken Korma, the ostrich mince burger and panfried Franschoek trout. Everything had a light spicyness to it that perfectly suited the dish. The staff and owners were out and about all the time and didn't mind my at times odd sense of humour. We followed it up with Russian Honey Cake (surprisingly light and not sticky sweet) and the turkish delight cheesecake was clearly a enjoyable. As was the turkish delight gelato. We waddled out a very happy troop.
