Edgars Tyger Valley

Edgars is by far the worse retail store I've come across in terms of service... I've been trying to reach this store for the past 2 days and when I eventually get through to the manager I'm asked why am I calling this person... I was shocked to my core... How are you in a position of authority and you don't know what's happening in your store???? I don't get this... Edgars you need to do something about the competency of your staff in your stores as well as you contact details on your website

Ladies clothing are diverse, men's clothing not so much.Lots of in-store fragrance and beauty stalls. Adequate security for account cards being used. Staff are clued up and trained to assist efficiently.

A retailer that has gone through numerous financial stresses. And this is reflected in the service and the skill sets of staff as I suspect the good staff have left for greener pastures. The staff member who had to man the specific beauty stand arrived 23min late for work. I was advised a gift receipt couldn't be issued but they would do a receipt re-print. Once the reprint was done, it clearly states gift receipt" on top. Go figure. Their telephone was incorrect on Google Maps so I updated it but to get the number was also a daunting task. This in itself speaks of challenges to lift from mediocre to acceptable."

Very friendly and helpful staff, fashion and quality better than other leading companies.

Worst shopping experience ever. I realy feel bad for the staff. They are obviously overworked. You can clearly see the frustration and dispair in their body language. I don't know what is going on but management has some work to do.

I had such a great experience shopping at Edgars Tygervalley yesterday. Thank you VERY much to Pilani who assisted me with collecting my card. This store has super helpful staff in all departments and a great variety of men's clothing.

I am a longstanding client of Edgars but questioned the reasons for it yesterday. I wanted to exchange something yesterday (brand new, tags still attached). I didn't have the correct slip. Instead of talking to me, the two cashiers were talking amongst themselves without making eye contact and I had to figure out they could not accommodate me by the way they were shaking their heads... not addressing me but talking amongst themselves. Poor attitude and POOR customer etiquette. Train your staff on how to interact with your customers please.

At the watch department this morning I chose a watch to purchase. While the sales assistant Jason was busy finding the box for the watch another customer wanted assistance. Jason asked her which watch they are interested. Once she mentioned the brand, he immediately decided to stop helping us and help her instead as it was a more expensive watch brand than what I was buying.Needless to say, my husband handed him the watch back and we left. This is why you store is losing business. Pathetic service. I went and bought a watch at your competitor and got brilliant service, therefore will be closing my account with you and will not be back. Will also ensure anyone who is willing to listen will do the same.

The makeup departments assistant helpers are extremely helpful and friendly.Meshe/ Mishe provides amazing customer service and always has a smile on her face!

Customer service is terrible. When I complained to a floor manager Laura she refused to wait two minutes to help authorise my return and took the customer behind me to another till somewhere else in the shop. And I had to wait for another customer that was behind me to be helped before she came back to authorise the return
