My favorite Dentist in the entire world! We have traveled to over 100 countries and we always come back to Dr. Clifford and his amazing team in Capetown. The quality of their work, the newest technologies and the care and attention of the staff is what keeps us coming back....not to mention the best view from a Dentist chair I have ever seen!

I have been to four different dentistries in Cape Town and hands down this is the best one by far. Don’t even consider going to any other dentist. Dr Trichardt is the best dentist I have ever had - having lived abroad in New Zealand and Europe, so he wins internationally. He did a root canal for me and it was completely pain free. He check in to see if I was ok afterwards. Since then, I decided to get my teeth straightened using Invisalign. Honestly it has been a breeze and completely stress free. They definitely go the extra mile here.

It's an amazing experience to be seen by Dr. Louis Trichaardt and his helper.Have always been uneasy to go to the dentist but was put at ease immediately. He explained everything to my husband and myself and after taking the various pictures of my mouth and the problem that I had come for was given the various options.Was received very warmly by reception and when it was time for my appointment was taken for a tour of the premises.Have never seen such modern equipment and beautiful view.Can only highly recommend this place and Dr Louis.

The first day I arrived in Cape Town for my studies I developed a severe tooth ache. Unfortunately I haven't had the best experiences with dentist in Holland (my home country), so I wasn't too keen on going to any dentist. After walking around for a few days, barely able to eat and sleep, I decided to visit OptiSmile Dentistry. The best decision ever! Dr. Shaa was so kind, so patient and very professional. He quickly discovered the cause of my pain and advised a root canal treatment... Although I was very scared, I decided to go with his advice and I could not be happier with that decision. There was no pain during the entire procedure (nor after!). Amazing! Because I was a little anxious during the two weeks between treatments, he texted me during the weekend and invited me over to have a look (without charge). He reassured me that everything was looking great, and even had a bite guard made to help me with night grinding. I am so happy that I visited OptiSmile Dentistry and that Dr. Shaa helped me overcome my fear of the dentist. Do not hesitate to go to their clinic if you're in pain, they will help you in no time! Wow where do I begin ! I walked into OptiSmile looking for a second opinion on a fractured tooth that had been giving me trouble after a nasty fall I took 2 weeks prior. Tooth was in excruciating pain I could not chew or apply any kind of pressure on it. My previous dentist could not identify the fracture and suggested the tooth was bruised from almost being avulsed and needed time to heal. I felt there was something wrong so I did a google search to see where else I could go. I came across OptiSmile and made my appointment. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with warmth and welcomed by the most beautiful environment - did not feel like a dentist at all. With state of the art equipment my dentist Dr. Louis identified the fracture in no time and concluded the tooth needed to be extracted - my worst nightmare !The period between my consultation and extraction procedure I had developed a stubborn infection but Dr. Louis and the staff were available to assist me immediately without hesitation or delay. The day of the extraction came and it was a complicated procedure because the tooth had fractured into three pieces, but I felt absolutely no pain or discomfort. The entire process, from the empathy to professionalism exceeded my expectations. I am so glad I made the choice to go here and this will now be my new dentist for life ! I had an amazing experience with Dr Shaa! Highly recommend him for any cosmetic dentistry. I came for bonding and he was really patient with me — he gave me as much time as needed to decide on the shape of tooth and allowed me to come back anytime if I wanted to make some finishing touches. Overall a great experience at Optismile, will come back for sure.
