Acorn are very professional as far as fitting of your stairlift is concerned and when you need it removed they are professional about removing it and packing it in boxes for you, but that is where the professionalism ends. You are on your own after that. They charge ± R14000.00 to refit and loads of red tape making it impossible to resell it. My husband used his stairlift for a very short period before he passed away and I am left with trying to sell it now paying storage charges ( their policy is not to pass your name on to prospective buyers who cannot afford new lifts) So please be advised.
