Pick n Pay Hyper Norwood

Very nice store within the mall. The store is spacious and everything is well laid out and shelves are well stocked.

Variety of products available.It is just a pity that staff are so relaxed that a lot of time is wasted at the tills.When I visit Jhb I go to PnPay in Norwood Mall on a regular basis. Several times I here people complaining among each other about the slow pace at the tills; you hear people say they would rather go to Woolworths due to this problem. Time is spent chatting to colleagues without being in a hurry to attend to customers.This needs to be corrected by management or they will loose more customers unnecessarily.If you have time to browse and wait at the tills PnPay is a good place to go, but if your time is limited, it is a frustration.

The issue I had with this was that they paint all black people with the same brush and this was all because some guy has been stealing stationery.I was not happy with the treatment received. I get that this is a white dominated area but I live in highlands and this is like 1km for me. It's the closest but I think it's best I got to a place I can do my shopping in peace and it's okay to be black and not a suspect!

Good variety, nice bakery, and meat prices are very reasonable and sometimes cheap , but tills are always slow unfortunately so don't go if you are in a hurry

Full of variety, you get all yours required items under one roof but alcohol is sold only Monday to thus so make your plans accordingly. Place if spacious enough space to move around and buying was g good experience can't upload more pics as cameras not allowed.

Worst store for online shopping. Your things never arrive on time even not come at all. They don’t bother to call or email. Sometimes they just drop off up ur stuff to the building management without calling you at all.

Pnp on steroids. If you love big store with variety and space, this is the store for you. Very convenient and very safe. Dischem and clicks are there which is an added bonus.

Always well stocked with merchandise. Clean and easy to find your way in the store. Employees at the store helpful and able to direct you to the correct aisle. Receive regular updates on their Smart Shoppers Specials.

This is a Pick and Pay branch I believe has a lot of potential to be one of the best in the country. Its in a great location and the sheer size of the store allows for the branch to have most items in stock.However the staff and management clearly do not prioritize customer service, satisfaction and efficiency.The lines to the tills are always ridiculously long even on a quiet day, the prices you see at the till are sometimes very different from what you saw at the shelf.And what I really don't understand is that the store closes at 6pm almost everyday. How does that closing time accommodate the average 9-5 worker?No one in their right mind would bother going through intense rush hour traffic to then have to purchase their items quickly because of the pressure put on to them by the staff.Maybe you guys make enough profit to disregard these reviews, maybe you just don't care however I would strongly suggest you consider this review and others.Who knows, it might do you some good.
