This has to be on par with any of the best five accommodation establishments that I've stayed in anywhere.It was reasonably priced and even more so when you consider what is provided.The standard of the finishes, furnishings and linnens was top class. The size of the rooms and the amenities therein were quite superb and one really couldn't ask for anything more at all.Regarding dinner that night. The chef inquired of us what we would like. He then proceeded to prepare a superb succulent meal based on our request.It is great to discover these hidden gems when one travels in the far reaches of our country.You will be extremely pleasantly surprised if you decide to stay here.Needless to say, the staff bend over backwards in trying to help and accommodate your every wish, to make your stay even more pleasurable.NOTE. I wrote this review before reading any of the other reviews, so as not to be influenced buy them.

Place has everything you need for a nice quiet getaway: tranquil surroundings, away from the noise and buzz of city life. Great, healthy food. Excellent value for money. Friendly staff. What more do you want?

Peaceful and beautiful place for a relaxed getaway. Our room was excellent, the staff and hostess very accommodating and friendly; we felt at ease. Book a spa experience when visiting; it is really value for your money.

I am questioning their 4 star rating.From the beginning.•It was an issue to get in contact with this place.• I had no milk in my room for my coffee.•Bed linen was poor, 4 star I expect nothing but white linen not some stripped fluffed up sheet, And a blanket between the electric blanket and sheet, it's not pleasant sleeping on wires .•Breakfast was a huge disappointment for R95 I could not believe it and i was still told you should have had the half breakfast if its to expensive ".•To TOP it all off my room was not refreshed

What a gem! We really enjoyed our stay. The room (Chardonnay) is extremely spacious and luxurious. The gardens are luscious and peaceful. The view from our room over the vineyard and the sound of a multitude of birds is a fond memory I have of our stay. Both the dinner and the breakfast we enjoyed was very good. I would definitely love to go back.

overall performance is great. a sense of privacy and tranquility is created . I personally don't like the concept of room furnishings. but that's a matter of taste. I prefer modern lines. it was a bit chilly in the rooms and the power went out sometimes.

Lovely setting, an oasis in paradise. Service was excellent and the staff were helpful and friendly.Meals were delicious, candles on the tables as we sat outside for dinner next to the swimming pool.A place where one can unwind and relax completely. There are also therapies offered, from facials to massage. The spa area is right next to the river.A lovely setting for a wedding venue. It as long has conference rooms.Highly recommended. We will be back!
