Stay far away from this institution... You pay R10000 per month for a medical aid, but then you get treated like if you are lying in Baragwanath, or any state hospital... INCOMPETENT, USESLESS, ARROGANT self proclaimed Dr's!!! How can you speak in a foreign language in front of distroted family members.....

Almost a total of 3 hours waiting time before they saw my todler. Absolutely horrible that a private Hospital has waiting times like this. Diagnosis took less than 3 minutes by the way. Now the long wait to see how long the treatment is going to be tonight...

It is a pity one can't give no star" absolutely no sense of urgency

My mother was admitted to Emfuleni on the 4th of March with Hypoglycemia. On the 6th of March we spoke to Dr Misibi for the first time. We explained to her that three days prior that my mom was restless, confused and would wonder around in the evening and that we wanted Dr Misibi to also do tests for dementia. Dr Misibi disagreed and said my mom had delirium which occurs when the blood sugar levels are high. She contiined to treat my mother. 2 weeks later her blood sugar levels were lower but my mother continued to be restless and her speech got worse. Dr Misibi then decided after 2WEEKS to do a CT scan to the brain only to find my mom has severe Vascular dementia and started treating her for that. My mother was under so much stress - this was so unecessary if Dr Misibi just acted on what we told her this would have been prevented. My mom stayed in hospital for almost 3 weeks. She was then transferred to Nurture Health a step down facility and in 48 hours my mom was a different person!!! Dr Misibi is UNPROFESSIONAL RUDEand she keeps her patients at the hospital to benefit her. That woman is giving Emfuleni mediclinic a BAD name!!

If there's a definition for unprofessional people then you talking about this hospital, rude Doctors especially that Dr Mbamba, useless and unprofessional. The admin staff know nothing and don't provide enough information to patients, if you want bad service try them

Arrived at their emergency centre with a profusely and uncontrolled nose bleed. It took atleast 10 minutes after my arrival and ringing of the bell to be attended to by an auxiliary nurse. The support staff (nurses) were extremely friendly but the attending doctor waltz in there about an hour after to do a 10 minute examination upon which she instructed the nurses to discharge me to see an ENT specialist 2 days after. The ENT specialist was also problematic in my opinion. He did a 5 minute examination and deemed me fit to return to work without even a single explanation as to what was wrong. He did not even bother to read the notes from the staff that attended to me 2 days prior

Will never go to Mediclinic after hour care again. Rather Cormed. Cormed's Propper Doctors, Propper diagnoses and explinations with propper genuine care is definitely worth it. Second time that my kids were miss diagnosed at Mediclinic . Shocking.
