Quite honestly the worst service I have received and would unfortunately strongly discourage using Nhari Furniture. Not only were there numerous false promises with delivery times almost every two hours, the unit arrived late and way off the measurements that were given. No one takes calls or replies to messages either. My order was delivered for a second time and again, they had not made any changes so the measurements were still way off. My order is back in the workshop with no indication as to when it will be ready, even after having paid full price. It's simply not worth the hassle so best to look elsewhere!

Please do not purchase anything from these guys. They can not stick to any sort of deadline and the quality of the furniture is horrific! First they failed to deliver on time and then tried to force me to take a server that was of such a poor quality the doors did not even line up (and it was not even close to being finished) I asked for my deposit to be refunded. It has been over a month now and I have laid criminal charges to hopefully get my money back.

What a horrific experience!They advertised a desk on their facebook page, I then ask for it to be made with extra draws, the desk came and after 5 weeks - definitely didn't stick to the dead line and then I ended up messaging themWhen the desk came, it was of poor quality, it was skew and didn't even look close to what we had agreed onI told them to take the desk back because I don't want it anymore, we agreed on a refund and guess what ? still no refund yet after 2 months, I get told constantly they going to refund soon but still nothing.I don't post negative reviews but stay away from this company, absolutely horrific service, workmanship and communication

Great products, but communication and delays on deliveries are terrible. We were told to be at home for 3 days in the evenings to receive delivery and each night they did not show up. When they delivered the scratched our walls and the bed size was incorrect. Now I have been waiting more than a week for them to quote me on bedside tables. If you are not a big ticket customer do not expect service

I have been waiting for a refund from them since 4 March 2021 (currently 14 May). The owner ignores my messages, and when he responds after countless follows up, he says they will make payment soon but never does. I think he is hoping I will just give up, but on simply the principle of it I won't. Their customer service is really poor, it's been a struggle with them from day one.Update: After the owner initially said he would pay the refund (which to be reasonable, I requested it be 50% of the initial fee), they are now reneging on this, and blaming the third party they used. I have in writing that the owner of Nhari guaranteed their would be no further rust on the gate in question, as well as him confirming he would make the payment back in March once the rust inevitably returned.

If I could give zero stars for this rating, I feel that would even be too good a rating. It is by far the worst experience I have ever had getting something custom built.What went wrong you may ask? Well, to be frank, absolutely everything.1. We were promised a turn around time of 8 working days. This ended up been over 3 weeks.2. They built the completely wrong specs so had to remake the entire chest of drawers.3. Delivery was reschuled several times and not once, even on the final delivery day was the time kept as promised. They were arranging delivery times even though the unit had not been built?4. Every time I managed to get hold of someone they would give long winded stories about why it's taking so long. After every phone call to one of the partners, after getting told they would call me back, not once did this happen. I had to constantly call back to get answers.5. On delivery, when it finally happened, the delivery guys ended up damaging the wall in the entrance to our house which now is an additional cost to repair and repaint.6. The entire custom drawer is pretty much a lump of wood.- Super bad quality and craftsmanship.- The drawers don't work properly.- The handles are already falling off.- The drawer liners are warped.- One of the drawers doesn't even work.At the end of the day they gave us a R400 discount for inconvenience caused but this does not justify spending R4750 on a box of wood.We will never make use of Nhari again and hope you read this review in its entirety to not make the same mistake we did.We now need to take this box of wood to someone who actually knows what they are doing to turn it into a chest of drawers for us.Literally the worst experience ever. You have been warned.

I previously used Nhari Furniture back in 2019 and no issue with the company. In August, the 27th August to be specific, I placed another order with them. 5 weeks later, I still have no furniture and just blatantly being ignored by the company. They've been making empty promises and even on one specific delivery day they insisted it will be delivered but that never realised. They have now blocked me on their social media pages. No furniture, no money!!!! (0 stars for them!!!!!!!!!!!)

I have paid deposit for a custom unit in Nov 2020. I have been given empty promises about delivery of this unit several times now. The owner toggles between using different numbers and have now completely stopped responding by WhatsApp, then stopped responding to my sms's. I have confronted him about the recent reviews on Facebook of someone having the same difficulty receiving their product and the total lack of communication. He then blamed the customer for being impatient.proceeded to delete the Facebook page and create a new one. I am anxiously waiting to see if I will ever receive further communication but at this stage I have accepted that I have thrown money in the water.It is now the end of Apr. Still no unit. Last communication of empty promises of delivery was on 18 Feb 2021. No further communication attempted.Still no refund or item. Stay away. It is now Nov 2021.

I usually don't post bad reviews of businesses but I had to in this instance. This is the worst joinery service I've ever come across. I showed them exactly what I wanted through clear drawings and they said they understood. The desk I got many weeks later was a poorly built and finished mess that also had incorrect dimensions. The painting was improperly done and started chipping immediately.They promised to make a new better-painted top for me but I'm yet to receive it after giving them several reminders. Do yourself a favor and save your money.Poor service!!
