What a dissapointment Oil and More has become. Regardless of when i place my order, whether it's the day before or early on the same day. I always receive my order at 16h00. Guess small businesses are just a burden for these big distributors. Sad, cos i have been supporting Oil and More for as long as i can remember. The call center staff couldn't care less to communicate. Untill we hit another level 5 lockdown, then everyone wants a job.

I purchased cheese from the dairy shop in Salt River, Cape Town on the 12th of July and discovered that the cheese was off. I could smell it and tasted a small piece to confirm. I returned to the shop on the 13th of July and the owner refused to change it because I had opened it. He stated that they have to send it away for testing to see if it is off and will provide feedback. This is not the first time that the cheese I purchased was off and they previously exchanged it. On another occasion, I found a piece of moldy cheese in the fridge and pointed it out to the cashier. This establishment sells old products and apparently they cut the mold off the cheese and reseal and sell it to customers.

Quite good place

Although the shop looks dated and in need of a good revamp, the products are fresh and the staff friendly. Long queues, so be prepared to wait a while for service.
