Travel lounge

Very good lounge in my limited experience, lots of nice food, great selection of wines as you'd expect. Nice and peaceful which is what we wanted. Good layout and not too busy

She was very friendly and welcoming. Never complained about anything and made sure that we're safe and sound. Plus she's very beautiful and an all round phenomenal woman. That's why I give her and the place 5 fantastic stars

We initially asked when making our reservation that we use the pool between certain hours. We were only told a day before our checking in that we cannot use the pool as they made another reservation for a different group.When we checked in we were forced to make full payment before we could view the rooms. We wanted to see the rooms because we had a bad feeling driving in, the area outside seemed a bit dodgy and there is no sign at the gate to indicate the property.The first room we walked in had a cockroach, the painting on the walls are peeling off, there were stains on the bed covers and chairs, there is a mould odour in the rooms, a friend of mine immediately had her sinuses reacting to the smell in the rooms. The doors are broken, the ceilings have markings, toilet seats also have markings, the showers looked filthy. The owner refused to give us back some sort of refund. It made sense why we were forced to pay the full amount before we could view the rooms.We immediately left and made other arrangements elsewhere as we could not sleep there and were ripped off our money.We even took pictures of the terrible conditions the rooms were in. Unfortunately this platform does not allow for the upload of pictures

I felt so previliged to get the chance to enjoy this luxurious lounge. The ladies at the reception were absolutely lovely and helped me with a smile. I liked the variety of breakfast options a person has. From fresh fruit, to muesli, pastries, savory, and even something warm for those who prefer a warm breakfast.You can also grab whatever you would like to drink. The couches are quite comfortable and you can enjoy the view of the sunrise on sunset depending on the time of your flight. Or you can just watch planes take off and land.For my first premium lounge experience it really made me not want to ever have to fly economy again. You can also monitor your boarding time while you enjoy the great view and delicious food.

Yola, the customer service assistant offered outstanding service with being attentive, listening and delivering the service, BRAVO!The food offered was excellent, if not outstanding. Well done to the Chef!I feel very well treated and privileged to be able to use the facilities.Thank you.

We as vegetarian didn't have much option so we requested Chef ncumisa to make some vegetarian sandwhich option. She was so kindly to make them for 7 of us and it was with s smile.Extremely happy to see such services for vegetarians where we have limited options. Once again thank you for your gesture chef and the team members.

I didn't even stay there for an hour I saw a mice in the room. They insisted on giving us another room, like that is going to get rid of the problem. They refused refund us.

The staff are very helpful and very friendly. It feels like a home away from home and I would recommend it for family especially the 2 bedroom family suite. Great place with plenty outdoor space including covered bar and cabana for a rainy day. We love the Afropilitan.

Expensive, at R430!For the price, I was expecting more, to be honest.The staff do their job, no more no less than required. Perfunctory politeness.The food, what's offered, is fine. Good coffee!The place is very clean, which during Covid, is important

Three stars.Food options were nice but no actual meal for vegetarian or vegans. The only meal was beef lasagna … not sure why as other Bidvest lounges have much much better and more food options.Staff seemed a little limited. Not coming around often.Wifi was good and fast of course.There are nice tables designated for working.Alcohol was self serve … including having to open bottles of wine because no one was checking them.Bathrooms extremely clean.
