The Yard (Silo District)
The place is beautiful and the seating is comfortable and very accommodating. The food was good and definitely value for its money. HOWEVER! The service was absolutely horrible. Sadly I won’t be visiting this establishment anytime soon. We waited over 40minutes to be served and waited nearly an hour for our food. The restaurant wasn’t even that busy, yet the service was extremely underrated and poor. I was deeply disappointed as this is a beautiful establishment and would’ve highly recommended it to anyone however if this was the off peak service, I cannot imagine what the peak hour would look like.

Ordered a chicken burgher and sirloin steak. The burger was good however the steak lacked flavor and was dry.I also ordered an orange juice by which it was extremely bitter and came with a fly at the top. The waitress was informed however nothing was done about it, and I was still charged for it.Overall disappointing experience, won’t be returning.

My husband and I had a wonderful time at the Yard on Valentine’s Day. Great atmosphere and great service. The food was okay. My husband would have loved his steak with veggies but they don’t have it on their menu. Kelly the general manager is doing an amazing job there. I could sit there the whole day that’s how wonderful the place is.

We visit The Yard often and always enjoy the amazing food and service. Masala chai is my favourite.We took our parents there this time and our waiter Chris went out of his way to make our experience pleasant. Massive thanks to Chris and chefs at The Yard!

Our waiter Chris was just so friendly from the minute we walked in. Such a pleasant human. I ordered the Dutch salad with an add on of free range chicken and it was by far the most delicious salad I’ve ever had. Thanks to the chef Vuyisi. Would definitely go back for that amazing dish!

The food served here was quite good.My review here is mainly about the service received.Nobody spoke to us when we arrived. We eventually just went inside and chose a seat. Normally someone would take you to a table. We had to wait a bit to receive some service. The waiter also missed certain things like when I asked for water - we ended up just leaving it.With regards to the food, there was no option to have the fish and chips grilled, which is quite odd.

Great food. Great location. Well arranged seating (both inside and outside). Great service. The mushroom sauce that came with the sirloin was to die for, and I would visit again just for the chocolate lava dessert. Burgers etc all good too. However, quite pricey (especially if you’re hosting a small group), but, as expected.

An absolute gem. This resturant is a must try for all the dosa lovers. I love their breakfast dosa and mango lassi.When you are here, do try the Bombay Breakfast which consists of a mild lamb sausage, flat naan bread, roasted rosa tomatoes, cooked spinach, spiced scrambled eggs and buttered lentil (dal makhani).The aroma from the kitchen is divine and the food is delicious.

Had a great breakfast at The Yard. This stylish well designed place serves great breakfast meals! The service was outstanding. Highly recommended!
