I was in Johannesburg on Saturday the 28th January 2023, driving my car without any problems. Went back home as I'm busy with registering my son and my little brother for tertiary. Sunday around 18:00 pm my car wouldn't start, kept sending a message that my car doesn't recognize its key card. Though it was the keycard battery, went and bought new ones still nothing, my clio has been running without any issues now suddenly its not working. Its frustrating especially because Renault Zambezi is busy giving me run around about it. Spoke to Joel who blatantly lied that the towing truck arrived at q0 am while he actually arrived before they even opened up. The horrible experience I'm having with this whole nightmare is that my son has to go in for open heart surgery on Thursday the 2nd February at Heart hospital and the thought of or possibility of traveling with him as a special needs child in a public transport is shocking. I bought my car because I loved it and it was what I needed now it's just unnecessary stress ,RENAULT Zambezi service sucks!!!!!!!

Called in to request the code for my duster’s radio, dude refused to even help saying it’s a security code and cannot be given over the phone. I live in a very remote area, can’t just pop in to a dealer just for a code. Is Russia going to listen on our call and use my car’s security code to over throw the government? Called another dealer the next day and they helped without a problem.

I took my car in to get the brakes replaced. First, I sat there for two hours waiting for the shuttle service, which wasn't too much of a problem, but inconvenient regardless. Later in the day, the guy called me and said that there is nothing wrong with my breaks. Yet, everytime I try to stop, there is a significant delay, meaning something obviously is wrong. I told the guy this, and he assured me they tested everything. I confirmed again that my car does not stop in time. They then called me later and said the brake pads were replaced. When I got home I saw the worn brake pads and they were completely finished. They were thin and completely worn out. I'm happy they replaced it, but had I trusted them when they said there were nothing wrong - since they are the mechanics and work on these cars daily - I might have gotten into a big accident, with them to blame.
