Despite Dischem encouraging people to use their online order service for prescriptions, they don't deliver unless you live within walking distance from the store you ordered from, especially if your repeat medication is due. Phoning this store to find out what is going on with your order, is useless, they will take your details for someone to phone you back and that's the last you'll hear from them. Your chronic script will be charged to your medical aid and you will pay the levy, but you will not receive your medicines.

It's quite a big Dischem and has more products than the others in the area. Well organised and staff always willing to assist. Their click and collect service works very well and quickly.Can sometimes be a bit too crowded, but not every time.

Their clinic has a horrible service. I had an 08h30 appointment for baby immunisation only to be attended at 10h00. If you think government facilities are the worst, think again.

Incredibly helpful - clinic was open on a Sunday!

I have found the service at this Pharmacy absolutely unreliable. I ordered my chronic tablets a week ago and Wednesday I had to go in and found that nothing had been done. A young woman helped but one tablet was not in stock (never is) and they had to order so I arranged to collect yesterday, it had not arrived and by 4:30 when it did arrive their delivery person was on their way home. I have now been almost 24 hours without a beater blocker heart tablet. The young lady acted as if it was just too much trouble to be of service and that is what working behind a counter is. You service the public with a smile. I will wait for my tablets and if they do not arrive today HELL will happen and I am never using them again. Normally I do not complain and walk away for ever but this is not the first time this Dischem has delivered bad service.

They cancelled a health assessment booking hour and half before the scheduled time by sms with no reason given as if I cancelled the booking. When I phoned to query this, the excuse they was have no glucose testing kit. Surely this must have been known the previous day and sourced elsewhere. They also alleged that they phoned me in the morning to inform me -that did not happen and there is no record of missed calls. I rearranged my whole day for this inefficiency??

The service from the clinic at this Dis Chem is totally unprofessional. I had a 3pm appointment, the clinic receptionist only got to her desk at 3.15pm she was really rude and arrogant. Thereafter the nurse attending to you can not even greet u decently. It's as if they are doing you a favor. Terrible service.

This Dischem is convenient because I can do my shopping while going to eat out at my favorite restaurant. The store is clean and well organized. Staff is very helpful and friendly. The parking is also close to the shop so you can quickly run in and out. Checkout is a breeze and efficient.
