Do not recommend using this store. They don't even know what stock they have available. Drove all the way there after being told they have stock telephonically to be told on arrival they don't. Time wasters

Helen you suck. Your behavior is disturbing and disgusting. You rude and dropped the phone twice in my ear and to top it all off you then proceeded to laugh at me before dropping the phone. When I got to the store your attitude got even worse and then you walked away from me after I was trying explain why your behavior was disturbing. You also refused to give me your details so I can lay complaint against you. It's people like you give cell c a bad name

I've always been dealing with this store in the past, there was a consultant named Desmond here who was brilliant and knew his job! There was also another slim short lady here who was really helpful too!I recently (Saturday, 5th Of January 2019) visited this store to perform a simple prepaid SIM swop for a number that was on my brother's account recently moved over to prepaid, bear in mind that I am the user of this number. So being a part of this industry, I know how things work, I went in prepared with an authorisation letter from my brother along with mine and his proof of residence as well as certified ID copies and my original ID with.I've done a SIM swop here before the exact same way I tried doing it this time. I did not make out any of the staff there at the store so I assumed that they were new there. Upon walking in (the store was quiet), the 3 people sitting at their desk are half asleep and didn't even bother to greet nor even look at me, nor even offer me to sit. I had to welcome myself, ask to sit and still after this, I tried breaking the ice here with these guys, still, SLEEPING.I explained what the issue was, that we have had a contract that we recently converted to pay as you go and that I now need to do a SIM swop as I lost my SIM. The lady is just starting me in my face and tells me that they do not deal with cancellations?? She then goes on to write a number down on a piece of paper for the cancellations department. She didn't understand what I explained, or, was she probably dreaming still??Further to this they told me that they cannot perform the SIM swop as they no longer can process SIM swops with authorisation letters. This is ridiculous. I went on to explain (I was already frustrated) that I've performed a SIM swop here before, even explained that at Vodacom this is a process that is acceptable, but they told me they still cannot do it and that I must phone the customer care line and have it done there. If Vodacom and MTN can action this process, what's wrong with Cell C? I also asked them what was the process for me to take over the number, but guess what? That was left unanswered :)I walked out of the store really furious and disgusted at the service I received from this store and definitely know that I will never take a step into this store again.I'm very disappointed.I have contacted that store today and spoken with the manager Mike and made him aware of my experience at their store. I will be logging a formal complaint to Cell C.Be very careful guys!

Tried to assist my father-in-law to upgrade to a nano SIM card, he is 90 years old & has difficulty walking & hearing. They woudnt assist unless he was in the store. He was in the car outside the store. We waited 1 hour before we could get assistance, no seats in the waiting area. Customer service asked him questions which he could not answer & refused to speak to any family members. They were unprofessional and rude.

Thank you Mike and Hellen for your amazing patience, technical skill and knowledgeable advice. It may have taken me a few undecided years about doing my upgrade but cell c can really be proud of the brand ambassadorship, professionalism and excellent customer service at this store.

Thank You Kgomotso, such a lovely welcome at the door and you went a few extra miles to help me replace my sim card. Now a firm Cell C fan! Well done to the staff here... Friendly kind and interested in their jobs!
