Berchtesgaden Game Ranch & Lifestyle Farm

It was an overall pleasant stay, with great chalets and food. Our hosts, Johannes and Anneke, as well as their staff were very helpful and went out if their way to make us feel welcome and cared for. It is a very neat and well looked after lodge and surrounds and we can recommend it unconditionally as a hunting and/or breakaway destination. Great place for a family breakaway!

We had an amazing time staying at the Ranch. We stayed in the Tented Camp. It was clean and everything you needed was inside of the tent. The hunting experience was professional and safe! Animals of the Ranch is in excellent shape and look healthy. The Lodge owner Johannes and his Wife Anneke were always there when needed. Johannes is very professional and it comes a cross his work and his passion and love for his farm/ ranch. I have worked around the world in tip top places (incl Emirates Place in Abu Dhabi) and Johannes should be so proud of what he has achieved because he is up there!! Excellent place. Will visit again !

Thank you very much to Anneke and Johannes for welcoming us even though they were actually closed. Your hospitality was very welcome after a long day of travelling. We thought finding accommodation in the Waterberg Biosphere would be easy, but as there was no phone reception we stopped at every ranch we came just to realize they are closed. Johannes was the first to offer us accommodation and his wife, Anneke prepared the best braaibrood"

This is a beautiful property, Johannes and his professional team were helpful and accommodating. The chalets were roomy and well equipped. We had a lovely weekend.

Once a year, Maroela Media’s management team retreats to Berchtesgaden for our strategic planning. With each visit Johannes and Anneke welcome us like old friends. From the lovely chalets and tents to the conference facilities, delicious meals and teambuilding activities, they do everything they can to ensure we get the most out of our planning session.
