I visited Direct Office Furniture after being frustrated trying to return a faulty height adjustable desk delivered by Office Works. Probably the worst after sales service I've experienced.The receptionist at Direct Office Furniture introduced me to Jake who gave me his full attention. Jake guided me to the right desk in a warehouse style display area.Direct Office Furniture import the frame, but manufacture the desktop locally so you get to choose not only colour/finish, you also can choose location of the cable hole to suit your home office set up.Jake arranged delivery and the desk arrived ahead of the scheduled delivery date. He even called one week later to make sure everything was OK.Relaxed and attentive staff, good product and price, great after sales service. DOF now my go to for office furniture/accessories.

I bought the most beautifully handcrafted chairs from Woodbender, with exceptional service from the team throughout the process. Even though my order was small, their attentiveness and care in ensuring a great customer experience was second to none, and the craftsmanship in their product is outstanding. What a great find!!

All we can say is WOW! Absolutely amazing product combined with amazing before and after service. The units we ordered are for the restaurant of our retail store, they front and center when you enter the store and what an incredible statement they make! So many compliments, so many where did you get your furniture" So many "I'd love some for my house"... saying that

Wow. Here's a business who knows that service is the key to success. Jake was highly responsive, knowledgeable and exudes a refreshing customer-first philosophy. I didn't get any other quotes because he absolutely deserved my order for a standing desk with a custom-made top.

Needed a few items very urgently and they have helped me receive and collect those items in a timely manner. High recommended. I was in contact with Jake, and he was very helpful and was great with communications especially for sorting next day delivery.

I used their online configuration tool , which is excellent. However even though I submitted my “shopping list” twice via the tool for a quote , NO Reply or quote has been forthcoming . Today I visited the Cape Town branch to request a quote in person , got told it’s a big order and they’ll email me the quote by 5pm …. Guess what , no quote …. Time to look for a different brand that’s backed by better customer service

Very disappointed with my experience dealing with this company. Order was placed online then contacted to say it was out of stock and would be approx 2 weeks wait. Was offered an alternative chair and told it would be delivered in 3 working days...5 working days later still no chair. sent email requesting refund and magically the chair had arrived the previous day and they would deliver immediately. Hopefully my experience is not the norm but I will be very hesitant to use Direct Office again. The only positive thing I have from this is my dealings with John who finally sorted it. Many thanks to him.
