Terrible service. Cheeky and racist staff. Hope I never have to go back.. They don't appreciate their jobs and some of wish we had jobs!!!

It was surprising to see a government institution/public service office work so efficiently. Arrived at about 5am, they opened the gates at about 7/7:30am the ladies assisted us according to what services we needed that day, I was there to apply for a child grant. I finished at about 13:15pm, we got delayed because there was loadshedding between 8-10pm. The process was easy and efficient.

Most of the staff are dedicated and friendly. Some of them are there to do you a favour. But then, they don't work there, they just get paid there

The service and staff in this place is terrible you sit in the application waiting area for hours.There’s about 9 cubicle tables and only 2 people are there to assist.We have elderly people, mothers with newborn babies oooh guess wha the system just went offline as I’m typing

Since have arrived around 09:35 and there was a loadshedding how come a government office doesn't have a back up for such things waited till 12:00 pm yerrrrr horable experience

I visited the midrand sassa office with my mom on 12 April 2023 at 2.30pm.we were greeted by a friendly security who took some details and was asked to sit on the bench.we were then approached by the most friendly person Shane who went out of his way to assist my mom on applying for a new sassa card.i wish all staff at sassa could be as friendly and helpful as Shane.we need more people like him to make a visit to a public entity a pleasant one.Shane you deserve fame brother.God bless you.

They dont deserve even 1 *. They are useless. What is going on in South Africa. But their salaries they get for doing nothing, is good. Be ashamed people at SASSA.
