Malaysian restaurant

Great Venue, Fantastic Food Amazing Service, perfectly located on the busy kroomboom road, the Cape Malay style quazine is exquisite including the presentation of the meals served. Located on the 1st floor above spar however the only issue I faced was identifying and locating the restaurant as there was no branding on the building other than this I would recommend this Venue to anyone wanting a new tasteful experience

The food here was extremely average. Overall the food just needs flavour and seasoning. Everything tasted bland and this was extremely disappointing. The waitress only brought our drinks after the meal had arrived. One a postive note, the chips and chai latte were nice. And the portions were decently sized. This wouldn't be my go to restaurant moving forward.

First time at this restaurant this morning. Seated at a dirty table. Ordered eggs benedict x2, received “poached”eggs with solid yolks and “hollandaise” sauce with the consistency of mayonnaise with a distinct lemon flavour (eggs Benedict is my default breakfast choice so yes, I know exactly what the taste should be). Only positives were the side order of chips ( which we had to remind the waiter about) and default dark sauce on the table. Waitron staff need training on how to communicate with customers. The cloth used to clean the adjacent table looked like a dirty floor cloth so we brushed off the crumbs and salt instead. Not a great experience. No need to reply or apologise. Just a fyi for the business owners to make the necessary changes to the service and quality / consistency of the food.

Visited on a very busy Saturday night in the new upstairs area, seemed very disorganized which is usually not the case as we frequent often . Unfortunately food and service was not the best ,we ordered a soup of the day ...horrible is an understatement-the chicken and corn soup had the consistency mushroom sauce way to much maizena or cream furthermore the dish it was served from does not make sense either my expectations of chicken and corn soup is very different. To add to the disappointment it was served at room temperature.I had the sticky wings ,this is always my go to wasn't crispy as it usually definitely made ahead of time and reheated and it was soggy.My husband had the mix grilled platter ,for R180 he was underwhelmed it was dry, menu says flamed grilled definitely not ,chicken fillets over cooked and lacked sauce.The drinks on the other hand amazing as always yoghurt berry smoothie was refreshing so.was my Mango mint cocktail.Their cool drinks are always good ,did not have cake this time but also always good

Personal favourite of mine. Perfect for brunch. Food was really amazing and so was our waiter. Cinnamon cake coffee was divine!!

We were a big group of 15 doing breakfast .Opted for the breakfast special, and the meal was tasty and delicious. Especially loved the taste of the sausage. Everyone's meals was nice and the service made everything perfect. Thanks for a great outing and lovely food. Would love to try the other dishes.

Returned to Tashreeqas after a year, and safe to say I’ve had one the best experiences I’ve had in a while! The tandoori crumbed chicken was juicy, succulent and the chips were crispy on the outside yet fluffy inside! Great customer service too.

Had breakfast here with my family , no one had anything bad to say about the food . My meal was wonderful . The service was good.
