It is a very small and cozy beach and rock formation. Unfortunately the swimming and beach was closed due to sewage contamination because of spillage caused by loadshedding. The quant little road sellers have plenty of things to sell and are not really costly.

Very organized, well-kept gem of a place on the ocean front and river mouth. Plenty of activities are free for residents, and lots of activities are planned during the holidays for your entertainment. Loved our stay here

Clean beach run by Tidy Towns Shelly to Margate beach. Beautifully kept. Clean new ablutions. Beatiful kids swimming pool and exxellent tidal pool. Well kept lawns and prestine beach. A great family beachand perfect for a family vacation. C Bali Restaurant on the beach

Absolutely gorgeous place to visit,staff are friendly,delicious food,clean beach and cozy rooms,it's the perfect place for tourists and people who want to chill in durban. Absolutely recommend!

The beach itself was good for enjoying the waves. The kiddies pool was empty when we were there during peak season. Parking was R16, and they didn't have a card machine, so we had to go and withdraw cash. The rent for the paddle boats and canoes were reasonably priced.
