Trying to order wood is extremely difficult, dont return calls phoned 3 times, dont respond to mails, send 3, unfortunately we cant complete a job because we need the same wood.Appalling that you have to beg for someone to respond to your order.

Nothing was too much ask from the B&B team. We have ordered a Cape Yellow dining room set 2.4m long x 1.1m wide with a 80mm thick top with chairs and benches.Gerhard has done an excellent job.... a true craftsman and always have a solution for the challenges during fabrication of the table. They simply cannot deliver a quality product within specification. Months and too many deliveries to mention and still not to spec. Be aware and insist on late delivery penalties. Staff block interaction and communication with, and complaints to directors.

Our visit to Botha and Barnard was very disappointing. We traveled from North-West with the main purpose of buying an executive desk. Firstly the showroom looks like a store room with furniture piled up in certain areas and not displayed professionally. Secondly, the salesman was not helpfull at all ,he just referred us to the website. Thirdly, the stock on display was very limited.I visited this furniture manufacturer 10 years ago and was shocked to see the decline.For the price tag, I would not recommend them at all.

Before you ever use this company, read this, then go somewhere else.We are building a house. Got all the measurements in November 2022. Paid cash. The wood started coming in around December 2022 with small amounts at first to nothing afterwards. They were closed festive season. Eventually getting hold of them at the end of January 2023 looking for the rest of our wood. Had so many excuses (loadshedding, treating the wood, delivery problems). I was shocked at all this. Then we phone, and phone and phone and really, after using your airtime on this company, eventually they bring more wood to keep us quiet. We realise that they didn't bring all the cladding so immediately called. They say they going to call us the next day. Eventually we call after a week, only for the manager to say that he found the problem and that he will send our 16sq meter to us on the Monday. We spoke on 8 March 2023, that Monday was 13 March 2023. Today is 15 May 2023. But in the meantime we called the manager and his wife, no answer. Called and called and called with no answer. Only to find out they don't work there anymore. They left end of march 2023. On 24 April 2023 we called the office number and the same problem is happening over and over again. We gave all the info to them. They see we are short 16sq meter cladding. But nothing has happened. Every time we call, the owner is not available. The PA is not available. Everyone is just never available. Asked to call back, yes you guessed it, NOTHING. In the meantime, my wood floor is rotting in the rain. It's a disgusting company.

Quality like this is rare. Art as much as it is furniture.
