Hercules Post Office

My wife has been struggling now for 2 weeks to just get her SASSA social relief grant. She would stand in line and wait her turn, but as she is to enter the post office, she gets turned away by the lady working there with crutches. She favours all orthers and allow them to jump the line. Absolutely no fairness and consistancy.

Very bad service. No wonder they want to close this post office. The internet shows that they close at 17:00 but today when I got there at 16:20 the gates were already locked. Been to this post office a lot of times and have never had friendly service.

If i could rate 0 stars i would. Sitting or rather lying on the counter can not just stand up and deliver a parcel for a customer. I am actuly working for post office. Please people take you business to other places. Dont use them any more. If they treat staff this way with such attitude then I dont know how you must feel.

Worst place to go. Unprofessional, uncaring staff. Never send notification sms on time, but will send a final reminder notification out of the blue. Staff don't want to do their job.I'm here now, 6 Jine 2023. They are closed. Note is unhelpful, nothing on what we do about our packages or planned open. Just dooks closed at 13:40. I hate this place for real. I wish they can fire everyone and hire all new staff cause the current ones don't want the job.

Just a note. They are no longer at thrle address given on google. The correct address is co centre and van der hoff. Also the tel number listed on the web no longer exists...Going in to see if they are online so i can pay a traffic fine and pick up a parcel...

Where is the no star button? 0 Stars!! Pathetic bad poor service, they are incompetent and don't want to work, using spiteful and slow attitudes, and the security don't allow kids inside and said they must sit outside? For what reason as we live in South Africa and it's not safe to let little ones unsupervised, I despise this post office and wish there is another way to get our parcels from them as this is very bad service. Isn't there people who really wants to work with customer service communications skills? 0 stars

When I asked if my parcel arrived, the clerk told my that thousands of packages come in every day" which I find unlikely as that place is a ghost town. The packages probably pile up because they only send out final notices IF your package arrived or send it back if you never get any notice. I gave them the benefit of the doubt once

Have been having years of troubles dealing with them, from struggles to collect parcles, higher prices for mail than at other post offices in the surrounding areas (so much so that I would rather drive further for a better service than go to them) and a list of encounters with rude staff. Their systems are also always offline, or they don't answer the phones. They close significant earlier some days and other times just aren't open for days on end. Would honeslty suggest the post office be up for consideration to close since the Wonderboom one offers a better and faster service, with frindly staff who do their best to answer and solve queries or issues that occure.

Very unhelpful and unfriendly staff. They don't WANT to work. Showed up with tracking numbers for parcels and they said they cannot check the parcels to see if its there. These things have been shipped a year ago and I have received no communication from the post office. Now that I come to them to check my parcels they are unwilling to help as well. Very dissatisfied.
