Post office

They close early. Make sure you go at least 30min to 1hr before closing time. You never know. I came here 30 mins early and again 1hr early. I came on a Friday because that’s when I have time off work but little did I know I needed a leave day to get a parcel.

If you want to experience the Rudest, Laziest and Most unhelpful interaction you will ever possibly experience in your entire life then please go here. The short manager is rude constantly, I have witnessed how the elderly get treated here as well. So many had to take a seat as the waiting times are astronomically long. Also if you really need to go here, and suffer, make sure to be there way before it hits 2:30 pm as these staff switch off their internet and claim that the system is offline so they don't have to service the shop full of people waiting there for almost two hours to renew one license disc.

The most frustrating experience trying to get my license renewal. Only one window working with 5 staff members walking around. Multiple elderly people having to wait in long lines without chairs or any assistance. Card machine off line. Printers having issues. Even if you have all the documents required they will still turn you away after staying 1hr plus with only 5 people ahead of you. Staff taking selfies and laughing will customers wait. At the very least try to assist clients and help them, especially when you are making them wait hours to do renew licenses.

I have been to this post office twice now in the span of a few weeks. It has been closed on both occasions. It seems to be permanently closed. My last visit was today the 6th of June. I drove all the way to Goble road to the licensing office and they were also closed. I was lucky enough to get my license at the post office in Durban North at the Pick n Pay Hyper by the sea.

7 counters are available and only 1 counter open since morning 8AM.Use of mask not a concern here. Sanitizing station is empty. Not managed well.

Went here today to do my license disc renewal, only to find out they don't do it any more they send u to mobeni post office now

Wish i could give this a - zero star! I have a letter that was sent off for me by registered post on the 24th November 2020. To this date (10th December 2020), i am still awaiting delivery of the letter. I have emailed with the reference number 2 weeks in a row - NO REPLY. I cannot get through to the post office on their telephone number, every day for the past 2 weeks. Typical of our SA government workers, right!

When I was there at 8am this morning they said they were closed due to loadshedding. Then I came around at 4pm and they were closed. They suppose to close at 4:30pm. And they wonder why this SOE is not doing well.

Like every other public service, Horrible!
