Salon Jean Paul Cape Gate Ladies

After sitting and waiting an hour at the barber, the barber refused to cut my boyfriends hair as he didn’t want to cut long hair (shoulder length) to medium length as he only did short short hair. Spoke and described to the receptionist what we needed done when we walked in. She didn't mention or go ask any of the 2 barbers if they will have a problem. Honestly, pathetic service! In the end, we were sent to the salon side, and Jamie squeezed the cut in. ThankfullyDon't have services listed on a pamphlet that you don't or won't provide. Just screams uneducated and inexperienced. Super super disappointedWouldn't have had a problem if they told as as we walked in, they suggested a different place

Booked an SCurl, their Price Guide says R300 with no Price tiering because obviously SCurl is for short hair. Fine had to get a hair cut which cost R170, I don't understand for what cause nothing special was done, the basic cut is R140.Now the lady comes to tell me the SCurl is going to be R670. So I ask why such a jump from the guide price suddenly I must pay R200 more for what. Then they start making up why I should pay more,one says its the system, the other one says because it's the price of the relaxer they will use (Ladine?)The receptionist was not friendly at all. So she decides to call her manager then the price gets agreed to R470. However she gives the feedback with an attitude *you ll pay R470 just for today next time you will pay the R670. This is supposed to be the Premium service store.Please treat everyone with respect you are a business and if there is a group of people you don't want to service write it in bold letters

Salon Jean Paul's ladies in cape gate did such amazing work I am definitely coming back. I am so inlove with my hair thank you to Pam and Abigail they did such great work.

Wow! What an amazing experience at this salon every time. I must give a special shout out to Fikiswa and Abigail for their tag team. My hair has the best shine I haven't seen for years and perfect color. A job well done and awesome team work in this salon.

Went there the morning of 3 November 2022. I walked in and was assisted immediately. Friendly staff who was very helpful and provided me with what I wanted.I usually go there for a wash, blow and flat iron and it leaves my hair extremely flat (which I have no problem with) but on this day I asked for a wash, blow, and straighten but with volume. Boy, did they deliver. All it takes is communication. I had a nice head massage given to me whilst the lady washed my hair and she asked whether the pressure was ok. She advised me about their sulphate free products during our conversation and was really helpful in advising me what to do about treating my scalp. This was my first time meeting and seeing her as well as going to this salon in the morning. I usually go during the afternoon but I go once every few months.Jamie did my hair.They are very cost-effective because they charge for lenght. I prefer this salon over the other salons in Cape Gate mall.

Be gracious with your words. When I walk into a barber shop, I shouldn't feel unwelcome. Good customer service is being patient and understanding of your customer's needs. I hope that this can be instilled in the staff going forward.

SHOCKING my sister was crying from yanking and soup in her eyes. HER HAIR WAS SMOKING IT WAS SO HOT FROM BLOWDRY! And they have the ordacity to tell me it's the dust in the blow dryer! Will never be returning to this place. And the attitude! I was told to step back and let her finish my sisters hair when I could not even touch the hair because It was so hot. I have burnt my hand touching her hair.
