A gem in the Midlands. We had an unforgettable stay. We will cherish our time here.The spa treatments, done in your chalet, is amazing and you should DEFINITELY experience the pampering.

Fantastic venue for those looking for a quiet night. Chalets are equipped with a kitchen and a braai. There are a few short walks i the area and it's very quiet at night. Keep the lights off in the evenings as it attracts loads of bugs. The hosts were happy and friendly too. Views out of this world.

We had the pleasure of staying at Otters Den for our anniversary and what a great experience! Stanley is the most gracious host and nothing is too much trouble. The cottages are tastefully decorated within a great setting. Thank you for making our trip so memorable - we hope to see you again soon.

What an amazing place! Great getaway, really peaceful and tranquil, away from the buzz of the city life! Amazing sound of the river below, soothing to the ears. Stanley is a great host! Thank you Otters Den!

Stunning views, cozy cottages, wonderful staff and a very relaxing stay. The cottage we stayed in (Copper Cottage) has a spa bath overlooking the rolling river. The cottage was decorated stunningly for my (now) fiancé's proposal- with flowers and chocolates and confetti and everything in between. When we experienced car troubles, Stan went out of his way to help us. Overall- a lovely relaxing time away and I cannot wait to visit again! Thank you for the lovely stay, Otters Den and for making our trip such a memorable one ❤️

So beautiful! Quite! Close to everything! Enjoyed every minute! I would just bring up a skottle the next time for a beautiful breakfast outside! 100% be back again! Everyone was so friendly!

Quiet and cozy place for short getaway with the love one. Beautiful flower decor, and nice lemongrass fragrance in the cottage. Host is friendly and helpful.Being inform that pump for jacuzzi is not working upon check in, so 2 options available either stick with copper cottage with discount or change other to cottage with same price. We choose to stay in copper cottage as we are deeply in love with the full view in the bedroom,however out of expectation that couldn't take a bath with such a nice view as the water leaking out due to malfunction of jacuzzi.Yet, never regret of the choice stick with copper cottage, as everything is good for the stay.

Old school luxury at its finest! Otters Den offers guests magical views of the Lions River, clean accommodation with all you need in their cottages to make your stay comfortable & relaxing. The hosts, Stan, Eva & Shayne were so hospitable and treated us like we had known each other for years! Thank you for your kindness & hospitality. The only place to stay in the Midlands- we look forward to coming back. Highly recommended!!!
