Ame from Hair Fantasy was absolutely amazing! I haven't been to a hair salon in years. So I decided to treat myself and get a hair cut. I had THE most unbelievable hair wash and head massage, before my hair cut. What a big treat on its own. First thing i picked up was that all the hair stylists had the most beautiful hair cuts and styles. They were all so presentable and looked proud of their industry and was leading by example to have the prettiest hair styles. They were all very friendly! But Ame took the cake. She was so friendly, talkative and there was just this absolute passion that spread through the whole hair salon when she talked to her clients before it was my turn. I was so happy when it was my turn and I saw I was going to get her as my stylist. Once again she was friendly, the girl next door, open, she had relatable things to talk about, she gave me amazing advice on how to treat my curly hair, she made me feel safe to get a hair cut from her because she knew my long hair was still important to me. Ame is a one in a million. I would 100% recommend that you ask for Ame to do your hair and to get your hair cut at Hair Fantasy in Protea Heights, in Boulevard Square Mall.

Called to find out about making an appointment and asked about pricing. I got so much attitude for asking what any customer would want to know. I use a specific shampoo for my hair which I already washed and just wanted my ends topped to keep it healthy. I got major attitude when the reception lady told me that if I thought that I would get it at a cheaper price I am mistaken... I just wanted to know what it would cost and if they had an opening to see me. That is why their hairdresser is empty most days. I would never go there. Bad way of treating potential customers, wonder how they treat actual customers

I am still in shock, I asked Cindy twice if she can cut my hair like the picture I showed her and she assured me she can, my hair cut was definitely not even close to what I asked for, my hair was cut so short I feel so embarrassed, will not recommend this place to anyone.

Lovely and clean. All staff are friendly and helpful. Prices are a bit high but they explained they good quality products and rent is more expensive. They did reduce the price by R100 for me . Thank you. That was for Cut, full head colour for Short hair and blow dry. I was still very shock at the prices coming from a hairdresser that charges less than half the price. I decided on Hair Fantacy going on 2 recommendations that are close family. I am very happy except for my eyebrows where not done as the hairdresser explained there products are very strong. Thanks for doing my hair the next day after I phone.
