Dr Louw & Malan

I took my 3 young children (ages 4, 6, and 8) to see Dr Malan. For 2 of them it was their first real dentist experience. I was amazed at how well he worked with all 3 of them individually - keeping them engaged and happy to cooperate. My one child is incredibly fearful of anything medical or of any possibility of pain - with ease and without any trauma or manipulation he got her to willingly pull her own tooth that was loose but needed help. His ability and natural skill working with children made it a positive experience for all 4 of us. I can highly recommend Dr Malan.

I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment and concern regarding the dental treatment my mother received with Dr Malan. Unfortunately, my mother suffered an injury during her recent visit that has left us both shaken and questioning the competence and professionalism of the dental practice.During the procedure, the dentist unintentionally injured my mother with a drill. This incident resulted in significant pain and discomfort, not to mention the emotional distress it caused. While we understand that accidents can happen, the severity of this incident raises serious doubts about the dentist's attention to detail and overall skill.Dental professionals must maintain a high standard of care and prioritise patient safety at all times. Our experience with Dr Malan did not reflect this expectation.Doctor Louw however, handled the situation well and completed the procedure when taking over from Doctor Malan.In conclusion, I strongly advise potential patients to exercise caution when considering using Dr Malan for their dental needs.

Met my eerste afspraak verlede week het Dr Louw en sy assistent rustig na die laaang geskiedenis van my tande geluister. Die rustigheid en vriendelikheid het my dadelik op my gemak laat voel. Beter opsies as die duurste opsies ( deur ander tandartse) is aan my voorgestel. Ek is so tevrede met die resultate nadat die werk voltooi is. . Dentist is outstanding. Welcoming and friendly which sets you at ease. Resolves the tooth efficiently and without any hassles.Its really a shame to see the team supporting him is really pathetic. Dont hold your breath on getting good service from reception.Quotes will not be sent out timeously. Emails will not be responded or looked at. Invoices will not be sent out to you accurately. The front desk acts like they doing you a favour by doing their job. Imagine...
