Bought a dress (which is not great, but was the only one I could find there which suited my body and the occasion). It needed minor alterations (the shoulders needed to be lifted slightly so as to lift the neckline a bit). Was supposed to be ready 1.5 weeks later. Consultant phoned me the day before to move collection date to the next week. On the day of collection, she whatsapped me to move it to 2 days later. When I arrived she had no idea who I was and was clearly not expecting me and the dress was not there . She phoned the dressmaker who was doing the alterations to find out where it was. They had forgotten to do it. They did it that evening and I went to the dressmaker's studio the next day to collect it. Unfortunately the alterations were not correct and I waited 2.5 hours while they redid them 3 times. The point is, if the consultant at HSC had followed up and made sure my dress had been returned, the dressmaker would not have had to do a rush job. You cannot get hold of anybody by phone at HSC - only whatsapp and that takes a few hours! The owner messaged me and told me she had told the consultant not to move clients around... and also that they had been having problems with the dressmaker. Not the best experience ever...

I would like to thank HSC for EVERYTHING they have done for us! These ladies went above and beyond! We traveled from Gauteng, Limpopo, and Western Cape to make this weekend possible! I phoned HSC, telling them we are doing a girls weekend from wedding gown fitting, to shopping for MoB, MoG and for our two Grannies, to venue showing. They made the Grannies felt special, relaxed and confident when trying on clothes! We ended up making a customised Pants suit for one Granny and a beautiful dress that they altered for the other. It was a very important day for me and they made sure the Grannies were taking good care off. We are very happy with our choices. They are a one stop shop all store!! Thank you HSC team! You ladies rock!!

HSCWhat a wonderful journey we had with HSC. The moment we rang the doorbell, we received excellent service. We had no idea what to look for – only that we must get a matric farewell dress. My daughter fitted all the dresses, she thought she liked, but unfortunately there was not a dress she fell in love with - at least she got an idea what she likes and dislikes. The owner Mercia, noticed our disappointment and promised she’ll get my daughter her dream dress. Mercia did her homework and kept us updated at all times. The moment she received new stock, we were informed. As she has promised, my daughter found her dream dress, even more beautiful than she could have imagined. HSC really walked the extra mile and went out of their way to find my daughter the perfect dress. Mercia is really passionate about her business, she listened, and she cared and made it her mission to get my daughter her dream dress. What an awesome place! They have so many styles and options for a wide variety of sizes and ages. From matric farewell dresses to bridesmaids dresses to even mother of the bride dresses. Also prices that suit a variety of budgets.Staff is very helpful, and the owner is truly amazing. She has a brilliant eye for style and knows exactly what will look exquisite for your body type. Mercia you are not just brilliant but an amazing person! You always make me feel fabulous.Someone left a review saying that we are not allowed to look around and choose for ourselves but that simply isn't true.Whenever I wanted to look around to browse for myself all the staff has been more than friendly and I always felt comfortable there.And I have been there probably more than 6 times. Each time I was met with a friendly, professional owner and staff.

Nightmarish experience. Alterations substandard.Service hopeless, no reaction to emails, phone calls or enquiries.

What a crazily bad experienceThere is no signage going towards the city when driving in lynnwood, three times around the block to find the only parking in the son, quite a distance for a disabled person to walk.This company also does not make provision for disabled people. No ramp and no hand rails.On top of my mothers embarrassment of nearly falling, we were made to wait in the foyer where people keeps coming in and out.We did have an appointment. Eventually we were ushered to a fitting room, already occupied by three other people. Clothes were crabbed and given to my mom to try on. The fitting room, had a mirror on the floor that only reflects, your bottom half. Even more embarrassment after the third outfit, the curtain is pulled open, to full view of the overly crowed place, exposing my mom in her underwear.I never got to fit a dress or anything for that matter, as by this time, the unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, the greed for sales and over crowded space, was one to much.I really regret convincing my mom, to try something different.Never againLinette
