Greenside Animal Hospital - Your preferred veterinary practice

This is my preferred veterinary practice because as you walked through the doors you and your furbaby are valued as clients. The set up is so pet-friendly with a separate cat and dog waiting room. Dr Simone Steyn is so sweet and caring. She is also very knowledgeable and treats my fur son so well!

Great vet which takes not only their clients but the pets into consideration. I love the fact that this practice has a seperate waiting area for cats and dogs, it definitely minimized the stress of my sick kitty. Receptionists are very friendly and they are able to give you an estimate of the pricing before you pay and handle payments in a very caring and considerate way. The other staff who assist within in the practice and the handlers are also all very helpful and friendly. Vet definitely takes your concerns to heart and from experience also the most budget friendly vet while not skimping on quality service! One of the best veterinary practices I have personally come across and will highly recommend!

Some of the friendliest reception staff out there. The vets are extremely friendly and attentive and make sure your pets get the care they need. No corners cut here, they make sure to check everything.

The vets and all the assistants and admin staff at Greenside Animal Hospital are phenomenal.Our dog was bitten by a night adder outside of town on a Sunday, and we phoned their emergency number. Dr Suzette was able to meet us there and treat him quickly. He ended up staying for more than a week as they nursed him back to health. Between her and all the other vets, they took such good care of him and were so compassionate towards him and us. I'm not sure he would have survived if they hadn't treated him so well and kept such a close eye on him.Thank you to everyone on the team for being so professional, supportive and knowledgeable!

First, i took my little dog in and the vet on duty prescribed medication that didn't work. Then, when i could see my dog was getting worse, i took her back and they prescribed an antibiotic. Again this wasn't working so i returned. I was told to stop the antibiotics and prescribed a 3rd set of meds. My dog still hasn't improved! On discussing this with the vet, I've now been told to take her to a specialist. Basically, they've charged the most they can and now it's my problem.From this experience i can tell that this practice has very junior staff that charge far too much but really don't care for the well-being of your pet and really don't know what they are doing. Really awful service.

I have been coming for years and always been happy with the service and prices. This last experience has left a very bitter taste in my mouth. We have been made to feel like we dont care about our animals and where given an Ultimatum. Put the dog down or pay us R15 000.00!!!We nearly lost our precious Bella!!! We managed to take the dog to another vet and was charged only R6000 and was much more accommodating to our needs. I was made to feel like I dont care about my babyIf you value your babes dont use Greenside Anmial hospital

A big thank you to the Greenside Animal Hospital for both professional and friendly service. Special thanks to Nicole de Wet for being so kind and helpful as well as Dr. Suzette Greubel who worked so hard despite being so exhausted. They assisted us after hours and showed true care with my fur child. Whilst my baby is in heaven, they did everything they could and made the process so comfortable. I am at peace. Thank you to all! Will be seeing you in the future.

The vets and staff here are absolutely lovely. My dog needed an op and they called me with regular updates and took excellent care of her.
