Mediclinic Midstream Hospital

I highly recommend Midstream Mediclinic. My granddaughter was admitted there today and we were impressed with the friendly and welcoming attitudes of all the staff, from the cleaning crew to the doctors and anesthesiologists. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and positive.

Recently had to take my Son to midstream Hospital. We went to casualties and then later had got admitted to the pediatric ward. All the staff were amazing, super helpful and attentive throughout. From the staff in emergency to the pediatric ward. Thank you so much

Midstream hospital is elite and well situated but the care is extremely poor. The doctors are good but its no use if the nurses end up making patients worse than when they were admitted. I recently admitted my mum in this hospital after having a stroke and the care in both the general ward as well as the critical care is pathetic. My mum went in with no bum rash and came out with eaten flesh on her bottom because the nurses have such a poor attitude and complain to change the patients even when they are called. I am in the process of taking the matter further. Avoid using this hospital at all costs. A patient will get worse from having such bad care.

Excellent hospital with modern facilities, very knowledgeable medical experts and friendly nursing staff. After a series of admissions to 5 other Mediclinics, my dad spent 7 days in Mediclinic Midstream ICU and a few in a general ward. Compared to other Mediclinics this was the best hospital by far... we were thankful he ended up being treated here.

To Eberhard Steinmann from Medi-Clinic Midstream, and your incompetent and illiterate staff in the accounts team. I'm disgusted. I'm disappointed, and I'm sick to my stomach.The matter relates to my mother, she was a private patient, admitted through casualties on 21 April, 2023 - on her birthday.Sadly, my mother passed away on 23 April 2023 in Medi-Clinic Midstream.On 25 April 2023, I received the final statement, reflecting that a credit is due to us, from yourselves.On 25 April, I contacted your accounts team and I was told and it was confirmed that you have everything you need, in order to process the refund. It takes up to 7 business days.I followed up with your accounts team on 05 May, 2023. This is where the absurd and bizarre chain of events started. I was asked for proof of payments of the initial deposits made - after you have sent me a final statement reflecting the deposit made, I was asked for a refund form, after I completed same on 21 April 2023 on admission of my mother. The proof of payments was also sent to your accounts team on 21 April 2023, and your accounts team miraculously" only found same proof

31 December 2022, 16h45pm, surgical ward... a stern knock on the door followed by a man barging in. This white man screams at my 4 year old nephew and then thinks that's okay. My sister is fresh out of surgery and now this white man thinks he can just open the door and violate our personal space. The staff just sat there and watched, this is totally unacceptable. I don't feel safe leaving her here,knowing there's lunatics that can walk in at any time,without any consideration for personal space.

After spending two nights in this amazingly beautiful CLEAN hospital. I must commend you and friendly kind and most helpful staff of ward Gg bed 22. I found the meals very delightful. Keep up your excellent work. And thank you once again. Dr Botha you where fantastic.

After visiting numerous hospitals in the past two years ( even in Switzerland an France) I can say with confidence that Midstream is one of the best health care facilities in the world. Friendly , informed staff, sufficient service and prompt response to the call bell. The most important thing is the quietness of the hospital. One can sleep end get better. No noice zone in the entire hospital .Well done, keep up the good work!

Besides it being a well-kept private facility, the consistency of its cleanliness is a huge selling point. Every corner of the hospital is sparking clean! Easy to navigate, availability of knowledgeable medical Dr's, this is simply one of the best run Medi-Clinic facilities.

It is my second time as a patient and again i commend all for the professional and exceptional service. Well done!On another matter, there is no rubbish bin at the smoking area at the front next to the main entrance. This leads to people drinking out of bottles or cups to just dump it in the garden. This rubbish is not cleaned up and accumulates daily
