One of the best school in Western Cape. My kids are happy and they maintenance the school very well. Its not easy to get them in, if u are not living very close to the school.

My son is Gr1 this year and hopefully next year, my youngest will also be Gr1 at Edgemead Primary.We applied in 2021 for the 2022 academic year and due to personal reasons decided to keep my son back another year in GrR, as his birthday is also in November. Edgemead Primary was very friendly and assisted us with keeping our deposit and placement for the 2023 academic year.So far, I've only received friendly, positive and fast responses on all of my queries and I'm looking forward to the rest of the year(s), for hopefully both of my sons.

I called twice to the school and was welcomed with the same attitude and same arrogant behaviour from the admission department my simple question in the first call was if they have an open day and the response which we got from the lady was extremely arrogant the second time after one month I call to find out if they have swimming pool facilities which again the same lady answer and she was asking me why I would like to know I really want the attitude to change and I'm going to complain to the department of education it shows what kind of moral values they will teach to our kids

The reception and admissions lady could be a bit more friendly when people are applying, no need to be rude and offish even when the school is full.

Edgemead is great school, lots of cultural activities, sport and of course great educationThe teachers are lovelyI would recommend people taking their kids here.They'll have the best 7 years of their lives!!

The Teaching staff need to take a lesson from their predecessors and try harder, from my experience they are there for the salary and abundant holidays. There is a façade of help" but its limp wristed at best.I have also noticed the arrogant attitude of some of the teaching staff. Pity

I loved the school up until I wanted to apply for a place for my daughter. I got the worst reception from the school cause i did not reside in the area but work in that area. I ended up taking my daughter to a private school as i did not want to experience the attitude i got from the school. I thought a child has a right to education that right to education was not considered cause i did not reside in the area.
