Scalzini's Pizza
I recently had the pleasure of trying the Vegetarian pizza and I was thoroughly impressed. I have no words to describe the taste, but am definitely hooked! Spettacolare!

Scalzini's Pizza
We stumbled across Scalzini’s Pizza as we were in the area. I haven’t had pizza in a good few months (around the time lockdown started) so my expectations were pretty high. The staff were so friendly from the get go that I already knew it was going to be a good experience. We opted for the vegetarian pizza and Al Capone pizza. They had a combo deal for 2 large pizzas for R145. Both pizzas had a ton of toppings and the base was thin and crispy (just the way I like it). The ingredients were fresh and you could tell that the pizza was made with passion.

A pizza restaurant serving Italian style wood fired pizza - very evident when the parmesan cheese topping the pizza is shaved and not the cheap and commonly used powdered stuff bought in packets. The pomodoro sauce topping the crispy base is made from a recipe passed down through generations of Italian mama's. The impecable service from both the owners and the manageress, Marilyn is born out of care for there customers. I was made to feel exceptionally special on the occasions I visited.With the recent introduction of a coffee menu - supported by a barista with a passion for making the perfect caffeine drink - using the finest coffee beans [Mischu Isabella Blend] Scalzini's pizza is now the perfect destination. What also adds to the appeal is that you can pick up your favorite caffeine fix from 6:00 in the morning already.

Scalzini's Pizza
Honestly the best pizza in Cape Town hands down. They don't skimp on the toppings, the avo is always nice, the bases are fantastic and the pizzas are super tasty.We have had pizza their 3 times now, only because we don't live that close otherwise it would of been more. It's worth traveling for and really the only place I'll consider when I have a craving for pizza.

A pizza starts with the base. Scalzini’s is yummy. Thin base with a crispy, chewey crust. I love the Neopiliton classic... mozzarella, fresh basil and a sprinkle of olive oil. It’s their basic margarita but done like no margarita you’ve tasted before.

Amazing flavours, pasta and ribs are great but the pizzas though. Not a great pizza base, considering it’s baked in wood fired oven. Definitely not freshly made bases, either frozen or pre-baked. Very flat, dense and floury.

A nice hidden place with a great pizza selection, in the same store they have a coffee shop, vegan food and small grocery store. Friendly staff with a peaceful environment to enjoy the meal and pizza.

Best pizzas i had so far in Cape Town. It is a MUST.Recommended for all pizza lovers. Best and fresh quality produce, friendly staff. Just impeccable. Keep it up guys!
