Port Alfred Town Clinic
Personally for me it was not the friendliest experience and I am speaking in terms of how I was treated from the receptionist to the nurse who had to assist me in fact my first and last visit was in 2019. Unlike other clinics I have visited in the province such as the Grahamstown Clinic, the Port Alfred Hospital Clinic states that a patient with minor illnesses has to arrive before 10am or earlier to be assisted whereas in other clinics one can arrive at anytime of the day and get assistance and for that reason.

Waited over 3 hours for a Covid test (sorry to those around me if I have Covid). Spoken to like a child, although there was not much communication, other patients asked me how the system works, there didn't seem to be any protocol for Covid testing as I was taken to get my blood sugar & pressure done for some reason. Had to call for my results & just being spoken to like trash. Plus, in one of the bathrooms the tap was open & running almost full ball & couldn't be turned off. Port Alfred has severe water shortages so this is quite shocking.
