Dis-Chem Pharmacy Scott Street - Scottburgh

I have spent 20 minutes on the phone (2 x 10 minute calls) waiting to get through to the Dispensary listening to a recorded message telling me that I am number 1 in this queue!!

I have shopped there 3 x. All I needed was Schedule 2 meds. Twice it’s been really unpleasant. 7 people were served on the prescription meds Q whilst the OTC lady did prescribed medication. My Q was eventually into the aisles and still no one assisted with OTC meds. Upon asking why they did not actually have someone else doing OTC medsI was told the OTC lady was assisting with scripts. By then script Q was done and she was still busy with ONE person. No one else came to assist the growing Q and irritation on the other side.I asked for a manager who admitted there was a problem but still did not bring someone to assist. I pointed out there are other pharmacies that have accessible parking, pleasant staff and it does not take 20 mins to buy panado !!!!He was uninterested in sorting out the problemI walked out.This Dischem is honestly not worth the hassle!!! Be prepared to Q for no good reason !

The old Scott street Pharmacy was fantastic. A caring family orienrated friendly very helpful..its sad to read the really bad reviewsNick you should never have sold.

The service since Dis Chem took over is getting worse it was never like it is now, what's happened, how could they ruine what worked. Keep being told there is a problem, well fix it. No body answers the phone anymore and sometimes your WhatsApp messages get answered, and the staff don't seem happy anymore.

I HATE this pharmacy SO much! This is absolutely the WORST pharmacy ever! The staff are unhelpful and completely unsympathetic towards disabled people. They have zero empathy for people's pain and suffering. It's like they go out of their way to make life harder for their disabled customers. They are absolutely horrible, nasty people. If they all hate sick people so much, why are they working in a pharmacy?I've complained about this *many* times, they couldn't care less, I was just ignored. I hate this place SO much.

Que is always super long, today the Que was near the door and only half the counters were open.

This so called Dischem Pharmacy is absolutely the worst I've ever seen! The people are so ignorant with answering phones and when one sends a whatsapp message and hoping to get a response ... just as useless! Dis-Chem's response yesterday after 4 hours was that my meds will be delivered today. They just don't care about clients/ *disabled patients like me and no way of transportation. I've never ordered anything else but *CHRONIC MEDICATION?!* This isn't the first time that I've suffered in pain because of their unreliability. They should be ashamed! Everyone that really needs what Dis-Chem should actually be about, should just stay clear!
