Oxford Heights Apartments

1) The guard gates are frequently broken for weeks at a time.2) The guards just let people in (obviously this is unsafe for the people living here).3) Kids are very loud and play around the cars, leaning on them and touching them. They also leave toys and bikes in the middle of the road.4) There are frequent parties on the weekends where people are extremely loud sometimes until 4AM, the guests park on the grass and in front of residents covered parking preventing them from moving their cars until the guests leave. This is followed the next day by alcohol bottles and trash on the grass which isn't picked up sometimes for a few days.5)The water pressure is very low for showers and baths (I asked one of the office workers about this and he said that's just how it is).EditI'm editing this review after 4 months to raise it from 1 star to 2 stars. They are more strict in regards to noise and people parking on the wrong places. This has resulted in less late night parties keeping us awake. There's also less trash lying around. The guards still let people in without checking if they live there when the gates break down which is a common occurrence. Also the build quality inside the units is not the best.

Nice place, ample packing... Only one problem THE NOISE is too much (complex management has no control whatsoever). The noise is so much that, it's forcing me to move out at the end of my contract, honestly can't wait. So sad, I had high hopes when moving in. I came from Sunnyside to here thinking I'll have a piece of mind, I was so wrong I should have stayed there.

i would not recommend this place to anyone. the day i had to move in, my documents werent processed yet but they had approved my lease (dont ask me why but because i dont know) and i had to wait a good 3 hours before moving in. the noise level is unbearable, the kids play everywhere even between the cars. the units are pest invaded. when i had to move out they didnt want to reimburse my deposit. they dont even deserve a star

I want to give credit to the lady Natacha du Plessis who's based at Montana office Oxford heights. The lady's customer care ethic is on another level...I mean very pleasing and GOOD. She could see I was frustrated and looking for an apartment to occupy same day and she took it upon herself to pull all strings available and in one day I was accommodated and didn't sleep on the street. I am not a resident at this complex as of yet, but so far my overall experience has been positive. There has been some admin issues, but it was quickly resolved.The complex looks very neat and the prices are decent. Obviously the higher the flat's floor, the lower the price will be.I have added some photos below as most photos available look exactly the same, which might cause some false ideas.

The place is nice but units looked a bit small. Couldn't find guest parking, i had to use closest resident parking i could find

Poorly maintained ventilation in units causing alot of mould in bedrooms and bathrooms .Issues not attended to for monthsWorst apartment I've ever leased and no respect to lease agreement.Entering of unit without my consent

The worst decision I made was to purchase a property here! Noise levels are unbearable - tenants don’t follow code of conduct & the office does nothing when we complain, the security guards are friends with the noisemakers so even when you call security nothing is done nor are fines given as stipulated in the code of conduct, it’s either you get woken up by someone playing music loudly or you can’t sleep because someone is playing music loudly! it’s like living at a university res or worse, sunnyside. Absolutely hate it and selling this apartment as soon as I can!!Oh and add onto the that, few months after moving, the bedrooms walls & bathroom ceiling has mould all over.
