MTN Store - Kathu Village Mall

Took out a contract in November 2020. Still waiting for items to this day (15.01.2021).IF you are lucky enough to get hold of them by phone, they never have a clear answer.

Very poor service, after waiting three weeks for an upgrade they did not even have the decency to call me, I had to go in and enquire as to why the long wait where by they told me this. Contract Cancelled.

I bought a screen protector which they recommended, when i got my phone back, the screen protector does not fit properly, when i got home, i called them, she told me i moved the screen protector, well, im not blind , the pictures below explain everything. Both sides, the screen protector does not fit!! and then she hang up the telephone.

Horrible customer service. They are the worst.

I’m giving mtn Kathu a 5 stare rating because of the friendliness ,people skills and the service you get from the manager .she will do anything to help you and make you happy as a customer. I’m going for my fourth contract and still getting good service .

Worst or even no customer service. Call to ask lady if they had a Samsung Galaxy Ultra in stock, she let me hold on so she could and look, which was fine. She said she had 1 in stock and I told her that she must hold it for me, I would collect it in 2 days time. I even told her which upgrade I wanted it on. She took my details and I told her that I would see her on Thursday. When I got there on Thursday she was nowhere to be seen and another person ask to help me and when I told him what I want he informed me that there wasn't such a phone in stock. So I came all the way for nothing and not even a apology, just I will phone you when we get stock again. Kathu MTN will never see me again and the personal should learn more about customer service!!!!!

Prepare yourself for a frustrating ride.I cannot complain about the customer service, because it is non-existent.I cannot complain about the good received, because there was none in stock ... again!I cannot complain about my fixed LTE I applied for, because, you guessed it... I have NOTHING.

Asked for help with a cover and screen protecter for 2 phones. Sales person informed us that they do not have covers for that make after I didnt even complete my sentence in witch make we wanted. As we walked out saw the cover we were looking for. I asked her why she told me there was no stock... The only answer she gave me is a blank look with a dont care smile! I wil never go to MTN kathu again.

If only there was a -5 Star rating. Good signal, WORST customer service ever! I haven't received any good service from Kathu branch up to date. They make a mistake (2 times now) on your account and they don't get to the point of sorting it out. They have been busy with my current query for about two weeks, and the only response is that head office is busy sorting it out, they don't know what's going on. According to MTN Customer Care, they should be able to correct the mistake within the store. It usually goes like this: 1) Sorry sir, we will call you back. 2) They NEVER call back. 3) You call them back and get the unfriendly tone because how dare I phone them back. 4) With that you get the same answer as usual: We will call you back. And then the whole sycle starts over. When you go to another store, they just say: call 135 and sort it out. Every time there is a different excuse.
