Got my Front & Back garden laid with Kikuyu grass.....Very Satisfied...

Hidden paradise in the Plett area, you must visit! The place is beautifully designed with lots of love for the details. Every furniture and every piece even the houses they built themselves and you can feel the great spirit when entering. The gardens are wonderful; they grow everything themselves, veggies, fruits etc.!The best thing of course is the food - we were there during the week for the lunch buffet and it was so delicious! So many different kinds of salad, a soup, lasagna, homemade bread - we tried all and were more then satisfied and happy. My omnivore boyfriend still talks about the delicious chickpea salad and the fig-tomato salad, heavenly good!If you want to buy presents for your loved ones back home, this is the right place to do so. We bought self made chutneys & coffee and I bet everyone will love it!The most wonderful aspect is that the owner Lello is trying to educate students and people in the area to become aware of our lifestyle, that we should take care of our planet more and not exploit soil and animals, by offering his knowledge and place to teach how to do it. Had a spectacular wine tasting here. All organic wines, tasting in Spiegelau glasses, beautiful explanation of wines. All the wines were excellent, showing great skill in wine making. Many of the wines already mature and drinking beautiful now. Although the wines are slightly pricey, I think this represents some of the best wines in South Africa. For the experienced palate though.

What a glorious 5 nights at Jamaka Resort. Camping site spacious. Waking up to the sound of running water which comes from the mountain. Own little Rock pool in your own backyard" for little ones to play in or grownups to sit in and cool down

A dinner to remember. The food and service were both exceptional. Make sure your car is capable for the dirt road there, which is rough. The food and wine however makes the mission well worth it.

Had the best experience at HomeGrowers tonight. My wife surprised me with a medicinal mushroom workshop. Cass and team made us feel right at home. They effort and the material was of the best quality. They are most genuine people you can find. I will be visiting soon again!
