AM Spa Kruger

My mom and I went to the spa recently and the ladies that assisted with our treatments (Vutivi and Delicate) were amazing! They were very attentive and listened to what we needed then advised on how to go forward with what treatments would work best for us! Fantastic service and we are very happy with our treatments!

Fantastic couples massage - asked for firm and they gave it!

We went there for massages in 2017 - best massages we’ve ever had! (and we had MANY) Both ladies were friendly and gave excellent massages. The spa had a professional, friendly atmosphere.We made a point of going back there recently when we visited the Kruger.Horrible experience. The spa looks tired. The lady at the front desk doesn’t greet and you immediately feel unwelcome. The lady that did my husband’s massage (Hlayisani) has a bad attitude, she is unprofessional and clearly doesn’t want to be working there- she constantly made noises with her throat and scratched her head while busy doing my husband’s massage. At one point during the massage she actually stopped for a while and appeared to just stand there.We should have just gotten up in the middle of the massages and left.The whole vibe in the spa is different to last time, don’t know if a new manager took over.Amazed to see that they are still getting positive reviews.

We have enjoyed a wonderful massage today - although the massage itself was great be aware that the pictures are misleading. Both the menu and google pictures show an outdoor massage room which makes you expect to have a similar experience. In reality you end up in a white standard small white room with any windows which takes any experience of being in the bush away. On top of that the “couples Royal romance” package mentions of a scalp massage we never got and serves a glass of bubbles which tastes like apple juice. Finally upon payment we were asked a price which was higher than the menu on the website as that was an “old menu”. Overall therefore a very POOR experience

During our two week stay at Kruger Park we visited the spa at Skukuza.We went here for a facial and foot massage. Our valuables were in a locker. The key was in my pants, which were with me in the treatment room hanging over the chair. My therapist kept going in and out. During the facial treatment we were left alone for about 10 minutes. I had a very strange feeling. For the foot massage, our eyes were covered with a towel. When we were done we went to the lockers and there was a one euro coin on the floor. We didn't think anything of it, another tourist from Europe could be there and lost it. In the evening I counted my money to see how many ZAR we have left. I also counted my euros, which are always there for emergencies. Almost 200 euros were missing. I even sleep with the money under my pillow, nobody ever had a chance to get at my wallet. When I went back to the spa the next day to say I was almost 200 euros short, the manager didn't seem surprised. I explained to her the situation with the euro coin and that we didn't think anything of it and that my mother has euro coins in her purse in her backpack, which she never uses because I'm responsible for payments. She then said if we hadn't counted our money straight away. I said no, why?The end of the story, it said nothing can be done as there is no evidence and there are no cameras in the lockers/changing room. But she wanted to hold a team meeting, address the issue and inform me. As you can imagine, nothing has come up until now. The whole thing happened on Mother's Day, a day that should remain in my mother's memory. He's doing it now, and in a very negative way.

Excellent pedicure. Very nice foot massage. Lovely set-up. Kind staff.

Did not go to the spa however did go around to have a look. Stunning place set up and specials available. Was fully booked on the day that we wanted to go however will have to do it another time

I can only sing praises. What better way to unwind after an early morning game drive than to come to this spa. A true gem at Skukuza.I went twice, once for a 60 minute massage and once for a 90 minute massage. Vutivi, my massage therapist, was absolutely divine, asked me all the right questions, hit all the right spots and ensured I left utmost relaxed and happy.Thank you!
