Coming to a private hospital you expect to get your money’s worth but the emergency unit is disappointing . I am in so much pain right now I can’t even sleep.The doctor didn’t even give me any pain medication .She prescribed the medication that I will be receiving in the morning.

Came to emergency on 15.03.2022. Waited with my partner for over 4 hours after she sprained her ankle badly. I thought the wait was just because it was busy. 4 hours is still absolutely pathetic for a casualty. There where 2 women who where told to come into the hospital by their doctors. They came to the ER at 6am, by 17h30pm they had still not managed to find them a bed, they had to ask for food. Returned on 06.04.2022 for follow up consult. Hardly anyone is in the emergency room and we have waited 2 hours already. This hospital is worse than a government hospital and cannot believe the poor turn around time. Life St Doms is a disgrace. It appears that this hospital does not have effective management or direction.

I was taken to St Dominic after a head on collision. I was very disappointed with the service of this private hospital and felt more like a State institution. I was left for hours on a spinal board in the middle of casualty, staff didn’t seems to know how to use the equipment and was discharged at 11h30 pm with only a script for meds (all pharmacy were closed…). Really bad experience

I received great service from the start(admission) till the end(being discharged). The nurses showed care and the Doctors who were doing my operation did well.

For a private hospital, the service time for patients is ridiculous and needs attention

Absolutely disgusted in the staff most especially the very unhappy ladies working the Sunday shift who assisted concerned families to visit their grandfather. who’s families have been admitted into icu, abusing their power position and treating family members like dogs. Most definitely should not be appointed to work with public. Zero compassion or humanity and showing off to their line of friends by treating people with no respect just plain rude and common. Sad to see that’s how you treat healthy family members how are you treating my sick grandfather in IC? People like this should rather work in a different job as working with human beings are way above your pay grade darling!! I would except that sort of behaviour and lack of compassion in a government hospital not a hospital where medical aid is paying your salary!! I pray I am never sick enough to go to this hospital.

Very slow service. After getting 2 bills it felt like a scam. One bill from the doc above the normal rates eventhough the hospital is supposed to be part of a network and then another huge bill for well just waiting 5 hours in their building? Feel free to explain.

Two patients were rushed to the ER after an accident where the car was written off. They discharged one at 23:30 in the evening as nothing is wrong with you" (he had no where to go as his car was written off and there was no family members nearby). The discharged patient (only treated in the ER

I came in with Shortness of breath in the AM's. I got nabs and after a few injections i was discharged. I called back the emergency department same day to ask for the following day booked off as well seeing that i was still not feeling well and my sick certificate booked me off for that one day only. The nurse who answered the phone was sooooooo rude and she completely refused to even get the message across
