You sold me spoilt meat. On valentines day... the pack was open slightly this whole time. Do you even do quality checks? Nhaaa, I will buy meat elsewhere from now on. Keep your rotten steaks.

You are by far the worst.And also the only one that closes before 8. You have a 100% captured market with Welgevonden, serve the community better and we’ll all stop driving to helshoogte spar.

This Spar has massively improved over the last two years. We also love the Sushi - it is the best in town!! And at very reasonable prices.

This is a very nice farmstall where I love to stop and have a bite. They have unusual items on the menu but all very tasty. It is more a restaurant than a padstal. There is also a play area for the kids.

This review is purely about the sushi bar. My husband and I bought sushi yesterday. The chef prepared it fresh. It was so well presented and packed. Honestly, it was the best sushi I had ever eaten in my life - everything was exceptional and delicious! Definitely going to be buying all our sushi from this spar henceforth!

Kwikspar has all the needs covered. If it is late night chocolate delights or just milk and bread this spar offers it all. The best it has to offer is most certainly thr meat selection which boasts a wide variety for such a small store. The frozen and preserved foods are also notable. Thr breads are great and fresher than most supermarkets. Warm and ready foods are always a winner and can be a saving grace on a lazy winters night. The sushi is excellently made and the tastes delightful. Wonderful having all the necessities in one convenient location. The chocolate aisle is not great as it is on your way out almost. Making for quick and rash decisions or none at all in choosing a chocolate(not a bad thing). My only critique would be the amount of baked goods and pastries. Rarely have I truly liked something in the past 9 years of living close by, the selection fails in comparison to other similar stores and franchises.

....……The only reason for us discovering this unique very up-market kind of centre was due to the fact that my wife had an appointment with a practitioner who specializes in Micro-Blading (eye-brows & eye-lashes) Its situated off the main road on Adam Tas running on the boundary of Stellenbosch in the suburb of Welgevonden Estate. One’s first sighting of this complex gives the impression of a High-end Block of flats two-levels above the ground floor which is occupied by small shops a big Kwik-Spar with a Pharmacy, a restaurant called “8th Man Restaurant & Rugby Museum, (total-lii mind blowing) Vet-shop, Laundromat, Prima-pizza, Handcrafting Shop, Dentist, Biokineticist, ATM’s and a few Beauticians even Pam Golding has offices here and more! The most intriguing find for me was spotting this love-lii clean and well equipped barber-shop called “The Groom Room” Saloon/Barber really didn’t know that barber-shops still existed? Even met the owner whose name is Andre’ Segals who is very passionate about his profession and even more so with providing his clientele a good & perfect service! He is also happy with the fact that he has his regulars and also the business seems to thrive on “word of mouth” advertising because to me it rather seemed that this business is in the wrong location but again I was wrong!......................

The staff is friendly and their expansion efforts have paid off. It’s a quick stop to get basic essentials. HOWEVER, the meat can be problematic. They do not keep a close eye on Best By dates on their meat. I’ve bought spoiled chicken there a couple of times. Took me some time to figure out why I was experiencing stomach problems after eating chicken. More recently they sold us mutton labeled as lamb. Unacceptable. The manager should have his staff on top of such things.It’s unfortunate because I hate driving any further than I would need to for meat, but with their quality control issues, we just can’t afford to risk it.

My favourite Spar in Stellenbosch. Especially after its been revamped. They actually listen to your request and stock all the products I like. Best takeaway sushi in town.

Worst customer service experience ever, had one lady lie to me over the counter at the fish deli, when I asked her if the oil they use for prawn crisps were clean. Its rotten smell for fish were stuck inside the crisps, disgusting if you ask me, oily packaged, not hygiene friendly at all, wouldn't buy anything from them regarding meat, fish, chicken, makes me wonder what else the lie about. Definitely won't refer them for freshness. They mix their frying, wasted my money. Poorest services ever reflects badly of this store.
