The lodge is beautiful with great views. The staff are friendly and the food is sooo tasty! We had some very good sightings on the game drives.

A lovely comfortable and welcoming lodge with nicely spaced out bedroom suites for privacy. Each with a patio and an outdoor shower! The food is great and the housekeepers have been cross-trained as masseurs so you can have a nicely-priced massage on your patio looking into the bush.The wildlife in Welgevonden has been flourishing so the sightings are great right now. It's an easy drive from Joburg, and you leave your car at the main gate so there are no rough roads to tackle.

Very nice lodge in the malaria free wildlife reserve of Welgevonden. I did like the open spaces of the lodge and its great views over a nice plain.Nice for families with children also.

We liked it very much. The staff is extremely friendly. The rooms are super cool with a view of the water hole, what more could you ask for.

Adventure and luxury all in one. Accomodation was well maintained, clean and beautiful.The food was also prepared and served with care , in style. The variety of ambiances for dinning areas is exquisite and interesting.The staff is well trained to present themselves and their work in a friendly and appropriate way efficiently.Adventures on night/game drives gave us the pleasure of seeing the Big Five"

Absolutely stunning lodge! Cindy the Manageress is very adept, Sam the manager and barman is awesome, Isaac the Head Chef is phenomenal and his food combinations are Michelan Star quality! Martha the masseuse is very good and well trained. All staff are friendly and treated us like royalty. The guide, Jonas , has 25 years experience in this extremely large game conservancy and is proficient in not only on game, but nature as well. We saw all but 2 of the Big Five! What an awesome experience! Definitely a recommendation!!

Outstanding experience. This is a 5 star no doubt. Food, accommodation and 2 game drives a day. Lovely surroundings. You'll get a exclusive feeling when you stay at this place!
