Really disgusted by the service I have received from the finance dept... I use to think so highly of this school until my personal experience when I applied for both my kids... I am in the process of relocating back to CT and was seeking a school that would cater for my kids Islamic needs I called Islamia college and spoke to someone who advised me that there is still space available and that I need to pay the application fees and post all the supporting docs and applications to the finance dept and they will attend to it of which I did... literally the next day i get an email saying that the application is declined without reasons?????.. I was shocked at the cold response with no reasons after I was told to go through the entire process of paying application fees which is not little money and to post documents overnight via postnet... when I followed up on the declined reasons I was told there is no more space... why did the person that advised me to follow the process not know the school had no capacity and make me go through the entire process.... I asked numerous time for my application fees to be refunded and my documents to be sent back and guess what NO RESPONSE... Rahima (finance Dept) so coldly advised me that the applications fees are not refundable... this is really not acceptable and in my opinion unislamic to cheat people like this... I'm still waiting on a formal apology from the school till today after numerous emails to the principals and admin staff...! Sorry there is a lack of Islamic schools in CT therefore these people can treat us like this... I wish there was more Islamic private school options in CT in decent areas so we can be treated with the respect when applying for our kids!!!

Excellent school for muslim students where Islamic principles are reinforced.WCED curriculum followed with Islamic Studies, Quraan, Arabic and Hifz incorporated into the curriculum.School has a functional sports department offering a variety of sports, soccer, rugby, cricket, netball, cross country, golf, etcA host of extramurals also offered such as speech and drama, curious cubs, karate, ballet.School had a Masjied on premises which is open to the public. Students make use of the masjied for Solaah so it can get busy during thr Waqt of Jumuah.

It's come a long way! And is very impressive in what it now has to offer, google all they have on the grounds. It's amazing. The level of education is up there with the best. The only reason why I withheld two stars is their resolve to certain issues that gets ignored such as the state of the student toilets it's simply unacceptable, cleaning and maintenance of vandalism is just not what is expected or even just satisfactory enough. Also with regards to boys college, they should try and get a hold of certain things to be the institution worthy of their reputation.
