Approached Keith to frame a butterfly for a Christmas present on 29th November. Was told he specialises in shadowboxes and has won an award for framing butterflies. He damaged my first butterfly specimen, and provided him with another. He would not give a deadline for completion, and when I asked if it would be done in a week, he said, message me on the 20th if I haven't messaged you. Messaged him on the 16th December, had not started yet, gave excuses that he had not found a supplier for a plastic dowel. I told him it's fine, just do the box and I'll mount the butterfly at home. He strung me along until on the 20th, when I arrived, he said it was not ready yet, would be ready on the 21st. Picked up on 21st, 4 days before Christmas and he wanted it back to finish the backing and R350 for this! No backing board to hang up and shoddy glue marks. Unbelieveable. Would not recommend.
