Very relaxing in the bookstore itself... Friendly owner, loads of old mads that haven't been opened yet... Special editions... All while browsing the bookstore is itself fun, the rose gardens off of where the bookstore is, is really beautiful and dazzling...

The staff are always very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It's very spacious. Great selection of toys. With so much space however, they could add even more. The things available for kids to play with is an awesome idea. Im appreciative that no one has ever asked my son to put something back on the shelf. He loves picking things up and looking etc, and the longer he looks the more chance I'll buy something. Toys R Us, someone asked him to put something back, he almost burst into tears and vowed never to go back. I just need to sort out what is going on with my points

Helpful staff and well stocked for a small store

I visited Toy Kingdom Cape Gate on Sunday afternoon with my kids and the behaviour of your staff on duty was shocking. I went there with the intention of spoiling my kids with a treat from your store, but the experience was shocking and I had to grab my kids and leave. There was a banter about sweeping and mopping, middle fingers were exchanged (in front of me and the kids) and loud arguing back and forth between staff members made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. To top it all off one of the staff members (a female) emptied the Santa Letters box, again in front of my kids and proceeded to laugh at and ridicule the letters with her colleagues. She then (very loudly) told her colleagues that they throw all these letters away there at the back (she pointed to the back of the store). Upon realising what she had just said, she then changed the story to say they send it to head office for competition. All of this happened with my kids and other kids in full view and earshot. This is beyond upsetting at this is a toy store, my kids believe in Santa and were so sad to hear that letters were laughed at and chucked away. The vibe in the store was that of something you would expect in sporty teenage store, not a kids toy store. It is evident that your staff are not adequately trained" as this is not the first time I've experienced an "off putting vibe" in a Toy Kingdom store. We love your store

The male clerk was so friendly and patient while I was trying to decide on what toys to buy. He was also very helpful and made the shopping experience seamless.

Excellent service! Great sales team, very honest.

Visited the store on 08 Nov 2020.The front looked neat but as you went to the back, dirt was lying on the floor.The Build-a-Bear section was in a mess.

Good for young people with plenty to choose from

Great selection of items. The staff are a bit aloof. I'd expect more energy and fun from them in a toy store.

Lovely toys, just way too expensive.
