This is one of the very few gems of East London. This club is full of sporting history. The atmosphere is light and delightful. The restaurant's food is easily the best I have experienced thus far. 5 thumbs up

What an absolute pleasure, the lookout restaurant, amazing menu, great meal, great service and awsome value. Sit inside or on the deck with beautiful surroundings and sea view to boot.

Bar prices are at cost, restaurant is connected to Simple and Salt and run by the very experienced Geraldine. Good food and great old fashioned atmosphere.

Thursday was great but as a member for 50 years now was very disappointed that they could not help us on Friday for a group of 50 people. East london golf club came to the rescue, they were outstanding.

I went on a Monday and it was very quiet. It seems like things are busier on a Wednesday and I assume on weekends.A very awesome looking club, with a lot of history.The pub staff were friendly and the restaurant food was delicious pub grub, and very reasonably priced
