Arends Rus is Really Not worth the Visit. The Venue is difficult to get to and only accessible for SUV's or 4wd Vehicles. If its wet weather good luck getting to your chalet. A huge concern for visitors to the venue is there is no security on the premises, which is not acceptable for families. The Chalets have no security doors or window bars.The venue is not wheelchair friendly. The Chalets do not offer comfortable facilities. The Chalet Bathrooms are certainly not suitable for elderly folks, as the floors are slippery and the shower heads are located over the bath, which makes for extremely dangerous circumstances, as the water goes everywhere when you shower. No Hospitality ratings certificates are in offer either. Finally you not welcome if your cultural heritage is not the same as the owners.

What an amazing setting. Stunning views overlooking Loskop Dam. The log cabins are beautifully decorated and spacious. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering. The beds are extremely comfortable. All in all well worth a visit

Fantastic! Thank you Nic and Sonia, you made us feel so welcome and we enjoyed every moment. The most stunning view and the place to be if you are a nature lover. We were warned about the road and some of us travelled with a Mazda 2 and got up and down without a hitch. The chalets were nice and clean and the outside shower with hot water was so nice! We will definitely be going back. Loved every minute of it!

The chalet was warm and comfortable. We enjoyed the outside shower. Spectacular view from our chalet. Peace and quiet with no TV ensure you recharge and relax away from your the city hustle and bustle. Thank you Nic and Sonja for a memorable stay, we will definitely be back!
