Don not buy MeiWeb, the top reviews you see are ones they wrote themselves or paid others to write. I have been dealing with speed and connection issues since the beginning. They are the only internet option available in my area so I cannot switch, I called them for 4 months straight about issues and they make no effort to resolve these issues, they lie about capping data, the shape your internet and throttle speeds, and they are extremely unreliable. If you want the absolute worst service and terrible internet connection choose these guys. After about 6 months of calling my issue was finally fixed then about a week later it started happening again, now I’ve been calling them and asking them to fix it for 2 months and there has been no progress. I cannot stress enough that you should avoid these guys at all costs

The product is terrible I cannot get support purchased a 100mbps line upload and download getting speeds on 5 mbps. Support does not respond they dont respond to emails, calls etc. I decided to cancel the service wrote a cancellation letter and got no response, but the email was read. Called the company they will not allow you speak to the CEO or provide a name. I am struggling to get the service cancelled.I don't recommend MyiWEB, terrible service, rude staff, management not available to and cannot be connected, applied for a service Vumatel installed the line, myiweb just dropped off a router and left the service does not work Myiweb is blaming Vumatel, Vumatel blames MyiWeb. Vumatel. Vumatel was suppose to come out today at 08:30am confirmed appointment they never arrived.I spoke to the reception lady Phumzile she is arrogant rude and I told by her that management will not take my call, they in meetings. I am disappointed.I asked to cancel the service they won't assist.

I never had a bad experience until this month with them, which I why I rate them a 1 star. Fibre off for a week, only for them to say the following week that they will no longer be providing a service to the Cape Town region. Another week has gone by and my line has not been released yet after speaking to them twice about it. How can I work without internet???

The worst wifi company EVER! I have been without wifi for a week now. Got my monthly installment, but I have no wifi!!! Not one star is suitable for this company. They forever having issues!!! Giving them one star, so I can post the unreliable company. The worst EVER!!!

Been with these guys for four years but the last three months have been a nightmare - service levels dropping by the week and loads of downtime weekly now. Made the decision to move onto a new service provider today - sorry guys but you need to communicate with your clients when you have downtime - its not good enough to just say sorry these days when connectivity is so important.

GER005 Johann Gerstner wireless connection, Oakdene. Been with Myiweb in the South of Joburg for three years with no issues. I am paying a premium for a 6meg line which I don't mind for good service. Lately my speed is less than 3meg & queried with the call centre (Thabo) in the past week. He told me he would phone back within 10minutes. 3 days later I'm still waiting. Phoned again this morning (Thuli) & got the run around about rebooting, number of devices connected etc allthough I only had one device connected, finally telling me I must send them the results of my speedtest.net. I am putting Myiweb on notice, should this not be resolved, I'm cancelling my contract. The service is starting to remind me of that of Telkom. Resolve this issue now!

Been with them for 3 years now but the last month has been frustrating to say the least. I had to pretty much beg for a debit order date to be corrected. Was cut off because they never made the changes. Did a eft to be reconnected. Then a debit order went off 7 days to earlier.

Decided to change this to 1 star after they ripped me off and don't respond to my calls and emails about the extra billing.MyIweb are utterly terrible when it comes to service and network stability. I regularly had to reboot my router with them, but since changing ISP, no problems at all. And they still billed me a month after leaving.I have been contacting you customer service for weeks and no one respond to me

Do not choose MyiWeb, The internet will go out about 10-15 times a day (disconnect for 10-15 minutes) They will slow down your speeds and lie about it. If there’s an issue they will lie about when it will be resolved and what the issue actually is, it feels like their “towers go out” every week at around the same time. If you have an issue no problem they’ll fix it in about 8 months and they issue will be back in another 2. All ISP’s are bad in South Africa but MyiWeb is most definitely one of the worst.

I have had my Fibre with Myiweb for the last 4 months and i am very happy with their service. Only thing that i could recommend them to do is be a bit proactive and let your clients know VIA sms or Email if you are having some server or infrastructure issues . I had one small issue and i had to get a hold of the technical department to find out what is going. But other than that am i very satisfied with the service i had so far.
