I make an effort to explore all the pet stores in my area - being an avid aquascaper. And I have had an awesome experience at Cabin Aquarium.I have found some healthy plants and really beautiful Betta fish in this store - some of the most beautiful Koi and Dragon Bettas I have seen. And prices will have you swiping your card for more than one.Their selection of hardscape is awesome, plants are healthy and relatively inexpensive, and there is generally a good range of shrimp and fish that have already passed quarantine.I think this is my new favourite store!

Hi everyone, I wanted to use this platform to give Cabin Aquariums a massive plug after what they had done for me this morning. I woke up this morning to find my 3ft tank is leaking, and I needed a new one. Before operating hours, I called the Cabin team to ask if they had a 3ft tank for me. Greg (Owner) did not have stock and instead had gone above and beyond to source me a tank and deliver it to my house within a few hours. Massive appreciation for him and his team for helping me out this morning. They provide excellent services and are always willing to go above and beyond; if you are in the area, please visit them. They are just off Jan Smuts on Gordon Road in Randburg!!!

Cabin Aquarium is clean and free of the musty and fishy smell that many fish shops have. The tanks are well looked after and the fish are healthy. Greg was polite and helpful and offered a lot of advice. The prices are reasonable too.The only down side is there's no dedicated parking and if you miss the sign, you might miss the cabin completely
