Faced with completely rebuilding a 1916 Steinway Model O, we ultimately entrusted the work to Paul and his team. A year later, with the piano back in our home, we feel completely vindicated in our choice. The quality of work done is superb and the staff clearly have a passion for what they do and take tremendous pride in their work. The finish of the piano was restored to mahogany after having been blacked at some point in its life, and it is playing beautifully. We highly recommend Paul and his team.

Thanks to Paul Fisher & team with whom I have had business dealings with since 2001 when I bought my first upright piano from him – subsequently; through good fortune Paul arranged for me to borrow a Bosendorfer grand piano from one of his clients who was doing contract work elsewhere in Africa – the only cost to me was the on-going tuning & maintenance which I gladly did – the loan of this piano enabled me to progress with my playing in an extraordinarily helpful way. When after many years the Bosendorfer had to go back to its owners I bought a quality upright piano again from Paul and thence traded this for what is now my own, dream come true, Grand piano, again from Paul Fisher. I feel that I have always been well looked after, with my interests coming first, and I wholeheartedly would recommend Allen & Fisher – Piano World – Paul Fisher to any prospective clients without hesitation.

I have the utmost confidence and respect for Paul Fisher and his team at Piano World. They have tuned and maintained my 1910 Ed. Seiler piano since 1982, and I have never given a moment's thought to going anywhere else. The piano has been in our family since new, and Paul has ensured that for the past 37 years it has been kept in peak condition. It recently broke a bass string, and not wanting to replace it with a modern equivalent, they painstakingly rebuilt a string in the original configuration, maintaining the marvellous singing tone. Service and professionalism of the highest order!

What an absolutely Fabulous console to deal with. From start to finish of restoring a family heirloom, Paul and team were amazing. Paul was not only open and honest about costs, but his guidance and knowledge of pianos was inspiring. Paul sold me my first piano nearly 50 years ago. Ever since then, he has provided me with regular, reliable and efficient service. He also sold me my second piano which I had for many years and loved very much. However, recently I felt I had outgrown it and was in a dilemma. Paul was most understanding and was quite prepared to do another trade-in. I found his advice invaluable yet again. He did not try and persuade me to buy one of the most expensive pianos available, but the one that suited me most.I greatly appreciated that. He truly went out of his way to be helpful, even phoning me out of hours to guide me along.Denzil, Paul’s piano tuner, also deserves much praise. Not only is he an excellent piano tuner, but he is truthful and gives good advice.I can highly recommend both Paul and Denzil to anyone at any time. They are “the best”!
