Car Service City - Cedar

Took my car in for a 90k . Never had a water leak in my car ever. Got a call from them telling me my water bottle is leaking and the service won't include changing of spark plugs because my spark plugs are expensive. Now I see water leak everywhere I parked which has never happen before there service. Very disappointing it was my first time using them . Never again and would never recommend to people I know . It's very disappointing to have to pay again for another service provider to assist me with this leak now. I feel scammed

From the Fourways branch to the Cedar - Bad. If it’s not the 5th time sending a car to Car Service City it’s the 7th. Yesterday I was informed the bolts on the wheels do not have treads due to the last person who did the service inserting them wrongly - guess who did the service (The very same Car Service City) now I have to pay for their mistake. Even worse they broke the air conditioner after removing the filter. Instead of fixing it, they took the part and placed it in the boot (Still Fourways branch). So I moved and decided to use the Cedar branch since yesterday (3 days inconvenience without the car) - I asked to come and collect the car (No the part missing is on the wheels - the same part they broke and I’m paying for it).02/03/2023Again the car is not done - reason “The wrong brakes we delivered” , when am I being told at 17:30 when I my self have arrived at the branch and the Merchanics are walking out with no care what so ever. So it’s going to the 3rd day.09/03/2023Even the complains department - “I had to call them back my self”

In October 2021, I brought my car to Car Service City-Cedar cause it had stopped in the middle of the road. The alternator was reconditioned, V-Belt changed and the battery - the cost for everything was +R7800. After few weeks, I came back complaining that the IStop is flicking after the job that was done. I was told to bring the car back so that they can check it and I brought it back and I was told that some electrical things needs to be fixed so that the iStop will stop flicking and they did but the iStop came back again- the cost was R1800 and I called again complaining and I was told that it is not a problem.I asked if the battery was install is the correct battery and I was told that, it was the correct one.Now it turns they install the wrong battery and I remember asking if the battery is the correct one and I was lied to as I was told that it was the correct one. Because I knew that the battery that was required is a Stop and Go battery.I am really not happy with rip-off service that I received.

Unpleasant and rude. Dropping off my vehicle I was greeted very pleasantly and treated very well. Work was carried out on my vehicle and I was notified to collect. Based on the degree of work done and the issue not being resolved I mentioned my level of satisfaction with the work performed. The attending person got very defensive and aggressively disputed my concerns instead of trying to understand them. Asking me questions and not allowing me the oppertunity to respond. The one that stuck with me was, you need to ask yourself

Good experience, thorough checks were done, was updated via whatsapp and telephone. Car was returned neat and in good condition

I have an old car. Mechanics " appeareared to to know how to replace old parts with new ones. Not repair old parts. I was told I would be contacted by phone regarding the problems with my car. I'm still waiting. By the way

Amazing service thank you. They kept me up to date with the repairs with pictures and constant calls. They even called a specialist when need be. My car drives like new. Thank you so much.
